Jesse Shaun Derry (born 30 June 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Chelsea and is an England under-19 international. [2] [3]

Club career

Derry was in the youth academy at Crystal Palace and was named Palace’s U-18s player of the season in 2023-24 after scoring 16 goals in 22 appearances. [4] He was offered a new contract by the club, prior to joining Chelsea in 2025 on a four-year contract. [5] [6]

International career

Derry is an England youth international, having featured at under-17 and under-18 level. [4] [7] He was a member of the squad at the 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and scored in group stage games against Germany and Netherlands. [8] [9]

Personal life

He is the son of football manager and former player Shaun Derry. [7]
