Jim Witter (born November 2, 1964) is a Canadian award-winning country music and Christian music singer/songwriter. Ten of Witter's songs reached the top 10 on Canadian country radio. [1]
Jim Witter grew up playing music. In 1982, he performed four songs on the "Music for Safe Water" compilation by 820 CHAM radio. As a teenager, while still in high school, Jim honed his musical talents by playing evenings at a piano bar and restaurant called Snuggles, in Hamilton Ont. In 1990, one of Witter's demos caught the attention of a Sony Music Canada executive. [1] Within three years, Witter was signed to FRE Records. His debut album, Jim Witter, was released in 1993. [2] The first single, "Everything and More," entered the National Country Chart at No. 40, at the time a first for a debut Canadian single. [3] Every single released from the album reached the top 10 on the Canadian country singles chart, including "Distant Drum," "Stolen Moments," "Sweet Sweet Poison" and "Chevy Coupe." Witter received a 1994 Juno nomination for Best New Solo Artist, an award that covered all genres of music, as well as a nomination for Best Country Male Vocalist.
Witter signed a songwriting deal with Curb Records in 1999. That resulted in a record deal and the release of his second album, All My Life, in both Canada and the United States. He continued his string of hits in Canada with songs like "All My Life," "Jumpin' Right In," "Tough As A Pickup Truck," "One Beat at a Time" and "One Hundred Years." Unfortunately, none of his singles reached Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in the U.S.
When it came time to go back into the studio, Witter was encouraged by Mike Curb to record a Christian record. [4] The result was his third album, 2003's Forgiveness. The album received a nomination at the 2004 GMA Dove Awards for Album of the Year. [5]
Witter is currently performing in The Piano Men, a tribute to the music of the 1970s, performing the songs of Billy Joel and Elton John. [6]

Matt Brouwer is a Canadian singer and songwriter. While in college, he and fellow students founded the band Monday Night Worship (MNW). Because of the spiritual content of his lyrics he was 'discovered' by a Nashville record company in 2000, and in 2001 recorded his solo debut CD Imagerical. The album was released on May 29, 2001, on Reunion Records. He then formed his own label called Black Shoe Records and released albums titled Unlearning in 2005, Where's Our Revolution (Universal) in 2009, and Till The Sunrise in 2012. Brouwer's music is known for its Contemporary Christian message as he shares his life's story of tragedy and hope with his listeners.

Where's Our Revolution is the third studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Brouwer. It was released on August 25, 2009 through Universal Music Distribution. The album is Brouwer's most successful release to date and was well received with critics calling it, "...a gorgeous piece of work" and commending Brouwer's songwriting and vocal performance. The hit "Sometimes" reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart and 3 other singles received considerable airplay on Christian radio stations in Canada and the US. The album won a Juno Award in 2010 as it was named best Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the year, and was also nominated for seven GMA Canada Covenant Awards, winning the Covenant Award for best song and fan favorite artist of the year. The album was nominated for Gospel Recording of the Year by the East Coast Music Awards and Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album and Song of the Year by the Independent Music Awards.

Nestor Pistor is the stage name of Don Ast, a Canadian comedian of Romanian heritage who performs in the character of a heavily accented Ukrainian immigrant. He has been a three-time Juno Award nominee for Comedy Album of the Year, receiving two nominations at the Juno Awards of 1979 for his albums Nestor Pistor for Prime Minister and Best of Nestor Pistor and one nomination at the Juno Awards of 1980 for the self-titled Nestor Pistor, and a nominee for Most Promising Male Vocalist at the Juno Awards of 1977.
