Jochem Kamphuis (born 11 April 1986) is a Dutch football referee who officiates in the Eredivisie. He has been a FIFA referee since 2020, and is ranked as a UEFA third category referee. [2]

Refereeing career

In 2008, Kamphuis began officiating in the Eerste Divisie. Three years later, he made his refereeing debut in the top-flight Eredivisie. His first match officiated in the league was on 15 October 2011 between SC Heerenveen and De Graafschap. [3] Kamphuis also officiated matches in the Belgian Second Division and the Saudi Professional League. In 2020, he was put on the FIFA referees list. On 18 August 2020, he was named as the video assistant referee for the 2020 UEFA Europa League Final between Sevilla and Inter Milan. [4]

The 2015–16 season was Feyenoord's 108th season of play, it marked its 60th season in the Eredivisie and its 94th consecutive season in the top flight of Dutch football. It was the first season with manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, a former player who played seven seasons for Feyenoord and who played 106 times for Dutch national team. The club started the season relatively well alternating between the second and third place until the halfway point of the season. They then hit a seven-game losing streak among a nine-game stretch without a win and dropped to seventh place. They followed this up with a six-game winning streak to get back to the third position for the final stretch of the season. They ended the season third in the league. Feyenoord entered the KNVB Cup in the second round. They started their campaign by beating both finalist of the 2013–14 edition. They were coupled to past cup winners in all their cup matches and beat FC Utrecht 2–1 in the final. The cup win qualified them to the group stage of the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League.

The 2016–17 KNVB Cup was the 99th season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It started on 6 September 2016 with the first of six rounds, and ended on 30 April 2017 with the final played at De Kuip in Rotterdam.

2020 UEFA Europa League Final Football match

The 2020 UEFA Europa League Final was the final match of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League, the 49th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 11th season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League. It was played at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne, Germany on 21 August 2020, between Spanish side Sevilla and Italian side Inter Milan. The match was held behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe.

The 2018–19 Eredivisie was the 63rd season of the Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 10 August 2018 and concluded on 15 May 2019; the Europa League and relegation play-offs will take place later that month. PSV were the defending champions. Emmen, De Graafschap and Fortuna Sittard joined as the promoted clubs from the 2017–18 Eerste Divisie. They replaced Sparta Rotterdam, Twente and Roda JC who were relegated to the 2018–19 Eerste Divisie.

During the 2018–19 season, PSV Eindhoven participated in the Eredivisie, the KNVB Cup, the Johan Cruyff Shield and the UEFA Champions League.

The 2020–21 season was PSV Eindhoven's 108th season in existence and the club's 65th consecutive season in the top flight of Dutch football. In addition to the domestic league, PSV participated in this season's edition of the KNVB Cup and also participated in the UEFA Europa League. The season covers the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021.
