The group released five studio albums and three live albums from 1994 until 2010. The band was at the forefront of the rise of the red dirt music scene in Oklahoma and the Texas Music scene. After almost 15 years together, the group disbanded in 2010.

Their seventh studio album is currently in the works. The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

As head football coach of at Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Texas from 1975 to 1994, he became the only person to lead a single Texas high school to the state championship as both a player and a coach. He was the starting quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns from 1955 to 1956. Clements died on Monday, May 4, 2015.

The album was produced by Danick Dupelle, and contains the singles "Wild as Her", "Never Met a Beer", "Back to Drinkin' Whiskey", and "Shoulda Known Better". The three tracks from Miller's 2023 acoustic extended play The Band's Packed Up are included as bonus tracks at the end of the album.
