Joe Nelson was an English freestyle sport wrestler. ^[1]

Wrestling career

Nelson was a member of the Bolton United Harriers & AC. ^[2]

He represented England at the 1934 British Empire Games ^[3] in London, where he competed in the featherweight division ^[4] and won a silver medal. ^{[5] [6]}

He represented Lancashire ^[7] and turned professional in the mid-thirties. ^[1]
