He was killed in a racing accident in an ARCA race at Daytona in 1990.

Charles Darin Brassfield is a former American racing driver from Los Gatos, California. He attempted to make his CART Championship Car debut in 1985 at the season ender in Miami driving for Wysard Racing. However, he failed to qualify. He returned to sports car racing to gain more experience. He returned to CART for two races at the end of the 1988 season and made his first start at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course but was knocked out by engine failure after 30 laps. He also drove at Laguna Seca Raceway a month later but suffered a broken gearbox 31 laps in. He subsequently returned to sports cars and was a multiple race winner in the IMSA GT Championship. He also made three NASCAR Winston Cup starts in 1989 on the road courses at Sears Point and Watkins Glen, finishing 22nd and 12th, and on the oval at Richmond International Raceway, finishing 30th. He also attempted to qualify for the first race of the 1997 Craftsman Truck Series season at the Walt Disney World Speedway but failed to qualify. He continued to be active in IMSA sports car racing until the late 1990s.
David George Mader III is an American professional stock car racing driver who last competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 63 Chevrolet SS for Spraker Racing Enterprises. He is a former competitor in all three of NASCAR's national touring series and is also the winner of the 1978 Snowball Derby.
Clinton “Delma” Cowart was an American stock car racing driver. While never achieving much success, Cowart achieved notoriety for being the "clown prince of racing" in the 1980s and 1990s. His jovial nature made him a favorite among competitors.
Laurent Rioux is a Canadian former racing driver from Montreal, Quebec who made three NASCAR Winston Cup Series starts in 1983 and 1984. His best finish in a points race was 17th in the 1983 Goody's 500 at Martinsville Speedway. He failed to qualify for the Daytona 500 both times he attempted it, but finished second in the consolation race in 1984.
Steve Seligman is an American stock car racing driver. A native of Lake Forest, Illinois, Seligman raced in the ARCA, ARTGO and ASA series during the 1980s. Starting in 1989, Seligman moved to the NASCAR Winston Cup Series; he attempted to qualify for 13 races between 1989 and 1996, but never successfully qualified for a race in NASCAR's top series. Seligman did compete in the 1996 Winston Open, the qualifying event for NASCAR's all-star race; he started 34th of 36 cars that qualified, and finished 27th.
Tommy Gale was a NASCAR Winston Cup Series race car driver from McKeesport, Pennsylvania who raced from 1968 to 1986. He ended up becoming one of the runners-up for the 1977 NASCAR Rookie of the Year award.

John Arthur Krebs was an American professional stock car racing driver. Hailing from Roseville, California, he was a 15-year veteran of NASCAR's Cup Series, competing in 19 events from 1978 to 1994. He also competed in the Winston West Series for many years, scoring one win in the series in 1978.
Ronnie Hopkins is an American former professional stock car racing driver. He has raced in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series and the NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series.
