Joey Carbone is a composer, music producer, [1] arranger, keyboardist, vocalist, advisor, and educator. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
When he was 16, Carbone was signed as a singer in a band to Atlantic Records by one of Atlantic's founders, Jerry Wexler. Carbone took a summer job working at Atlantic, where he watched recording sessions by Aretha Franklin, the Rascals, Cream, and the Rolling Stones.
Carbone moved to Los Angeles and became a keyboardist and vocalist for recording sessions and concerts. He played keyboards for Kiki Dee and Elton John, Rick James, the Righteous Brothers, Eric Carmen, Rod Stewart, Cher, Air Supply, Andy Gibb, Bette Midler and others.
Carbone was the music director and theme composer for nine years for the television series Star Search. [2] He arranged, produced, conducted, and played piano for performers including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Alanis Morissette, LeAnn Rimes, Justin Timberlake and others. He won a Cable ACE Award for composing and producing the theme song for the series It's Garry Shandling's Show , [3] on which he served as music director.
He composed and arranged music for China Beach , Falcon Crest , Entertainment Tonight , and others. He has also produced and/or composed albums for Japan-based record companies for American singers including Little Richard, Alyssa Milano, [4] Joseph Williams and Bobby Kimball of Toto, Bill Champlin and Jason Scheff of the group Chicago, John O'Banion, Edward Furlong, Irene Cara, Zoom, Mylin, [5] Neil Sedaka, Tiffany, Warren DeMartini (Ratt), the Righteous Brothers, and Sam Moore of Sam & Dave. He has produced more than 1,000 songs for the Japanese market [6] including songs for KAT-TUN, [7] Matsuura Aya, Smap, Wada Akiko, Crystal Kay, Akanishi Jin, Diana & the Treasures, Sexy Zone, Kanjani8, Tsuchiya Anna, Tackey & Tsubasa, N.E.W.S., Hey! Say! JUMP, Van Tomiko, Nakamori Akina, Nakayama Miho, Wink, Shonentai, Shibugakitai, Arashi, Aikawa Nanase, Mari Hamada, Lindberg, Inagaki Junichi, Koyanagi Yuki, Naomi Tamura, Infix, Julia Mazda, Eriko Tamura, and Masatoshi Ono. He has more than 80 Top 10 hits in Japan, [8] and has composed hundreds of songs for Japanese television commercials, movies, and television programs, including the score for the film Satomi Hakken Den (Legend of the Eight Samurai). Carbone is a contracted advisor to both Sony Records and Avex. [10] He is a lecturer and international advisor at Jikei Gakuen (Tokyo School of Music and Dance). [11] He has given lectures at colleges and universities in the United States, Japan, and Taiwan.
It's Garry Shandling's Show is an American sitcom that was initially broadcast on Showtime from September 10, 1986 to May 25, 1990. It was created by Garry Shandling and Alan Zweibel. The series is notable for breaking the fourth wall.
David Frank Paich is an American keyboardist, singer, and songwriter, best known as the co-founder, principal songwriter, keyboardist, and secondary vocalist of the rock band Toto since 1977. He wrote or co-wrote much of Toto's original material, including the band's three most popular songs: "Hold the Line", "Rosanna", and "Africa". With Toto, Paich has contributed to 17 albums and sold over 40 million records. He and guitarist and singer Steve Lukather are the only members to appear on every studio album.

Angel Beats! is a 13-episode 2010 anime television series produced by P.A. Works and Aniplex and directed by Seiji Kishi. The story was originally conceived by Jun Maeda, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music with the group Anant-Garde Eyes, with original character design by Na-Ga; both Maeda and Na-Ga are from the visual novel brand Key. The first volume in a six-part episodic visual novel adaptation produced by Key was released in 2015. The discography of Angel Beats! consists of two studio albums, one compilation album, nine singles, one soundtrack and one remix album.
MintJam is a Japanese hard rock band formed in Tokyo in 2003. They began to create instrumental music for video game covers, and went on to creating their own original instrumental and vocal music. "Puzzle" is a song by South Korean pop rock band CNBLUE. It was released on May 11, 2016, as their 10th single under Warner Music Japan and 13th single overall in Japan. The song was written by lead vocalist Jung Yong-hwa. Revolving around the theme of a wedding, "Puzzle" deals with the idea of "eternal love".
Omega Tribe was a Japanese music project led by producer Koichi Fujita from 1983 to 1995. With the help of composers Tetsuji Hayashi, Tsunehiro Izumi, and Hiroshi Shinkawa, the project had three different bands with three different lead vocalists: Kiyotaka Sugiyama (1983–1985), Carlos Toshiki (1986–1991), and Masahito Arai (1993–1994). Under Fujita's directions, recordings were performed by studio musicians and production handled by the project's production team. The project has been described as helping form the city pop sound, especially with the project's usage of summer and sea themes.
