John F. Kennedy is one of the 37 public high schools in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The school finished construction in 1964 [4] and hosted its first class in 1965[ citation needed ]. The average enrollment is under 700. The mascot is the Eagle and the school colors are red, white and blue. John F. Kennedy is a comprehensive high schools that offers Advance Placement, Honors, Early College, Career and Technical Classes and JROTC [5] The school offers a variety of activities, including baseball, basketball, football, track and field, and wrestling.
John F. Kennedy High School is located in the Lee-Harvard neighborhood on the southeast of Cleveland. Nearby is a library and shopping center and also by Frederick Douglass recreation center.

The original school building and recreation center, built in 1971, designed by James Whitley, [7] were officially vacated by Cleveland Public Schools in 2020. Since its closure, the school and its recreation center has been subject to vandalism. In 2023, Cleveland Public Schools sought to demolish the school and the recreation center and some ancillary outdoor sports facilities with the intention turn the land over to the City of Cleveland for redevelopment. The school district plans to leave the track and football field intact for use by CPS.

Glenville High School is a public high school in the Glenville area on the East Side of Cleveland, Ohio. The school is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The school originally resided at the former Oliver Wendell Holmes school which formerly sat on the northeast corner of E. 105th and St. Clair then later moved to Parkwood and Everton in October 1904 as population grew. The current building was built in 1964 and is located at E. 113th and St. Clair.
Lakota West High School is a four-year, public high school in West Chester Township, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is a member of the Lakota Local School District, which comprises both West Chester Township and Liberty Township. The district was originally unified under one high school, Lakota High School, until 1997 when the district expanded and formed two new high schools – Lakota West and Lakota East. Founded in 1946 by the Brothers of Holy Cross, Gilmour Academy has three divisions, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School. In the Lower School, Gilmour offers a Montessori preschool program for 18 months - PreK. The Lower School also houses the children in Kindergarten through Grade 6.
