John Hill was a Scottish footballer who played as a left half.

Career

Born in Plains, Hill played club football for Airdrieonians, [1] Queen's Park [2] and Heart of Midlothian [3] and made two appearances for Scotland. [4] He won the Scottish Cup with Hearts in 1891, and later served as the club's president. [4]

John Hunter was a Scottish footballer who played for Third Lanark, Glasgow Eastern and Scotland. He played on the losing side in the Scottish Cup finals of 1876 and 1878, and made several representative appearances for Glasgow. After retiring as a player, Hunter coached Linthouse.
