John Vernard Johnson (born May 8, 1968) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for five seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints. He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 1991 NFL draft. [1] He played college football at Clemson University and attended LaGrange High School in LaGrange, Georgia.
