John Parco (born August 25, 1971) is an Italian-Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played most of his professional career with Asiago HC in the Serie A. He is formerly the head coach of the Soo Thunderbirds in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League and was formerly the head coach of Asiago HC and SG Cortina in Serie A. Internationally he represented Italy from 2003 until 2010 highlighted by scoring 3 goals in the Turin Olympics. [1]
John Parco, born John Porco, played three seasons of junior hockey for the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 1988 until 1991. He was drafted 248th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft but never played in the NHL. Instead Parco joined Asiago HC in Italy for two seasons. In 1993, Parco moved back to North America and split the season with the IHL's San Diego Gulls, the ECHL's Hampton Roads Admirals and the AHL's Saint John Flames. He moved back to Asiago the next season before moving to the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in Germany, spending two seasons with the Kaufbeurer Adler. He then had a two-year spell with the Ayr Scottish Eagles in the United Kingdom. He returned to Hampton Roads in 1999 for one season before moving back to Britain with the Cardiff Devils. In 2001, he returned to Asiago where he remained as a player until 2010 and then started working as an assistant coach. In 2004, he was player-coach of the team but had little success and was replaced mid-season while remaining as a player. He became head coach of Asiago again in 2012.

Michael Anthony Foligno is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger who played in the National Hockey League for fifteen seasons from 1979–80 until 1993–94. He was a scout for the Vegas Golden Knights.
Carter Vincent James Trevisani is a Canadian-born Italian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Trevisani last played for HC Asiago of the Serie A and was named to play for Italy internationally four times.
Michael Henrich is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. An NHL first-round draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 1998, Henrich played several years of professional hockey in North America before moving to professional hockey in Europe. Henrich is the first Jewish player to be selected in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft, and the only player taken in the first round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft who did not play a regular season game in the National Hockey League.
John G. Tucker is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played twelve seasons in the National Hockey League in the 1980s and 1990s, most notably with the Buffalo Sabres and the Tampa Bay Lightning, scoring 177 goals and 259 assists in 656 career regular season games and a further 28 points in 31 play-off games. He played several more seasons in Italy and Japan as well.
Michele Strazzabosco is an Italian former ice hockey defenseman. He played for two decades in the top Italian ice hockey league and was a member of the Italian national ice hockey team for a dozen years, including at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. Strazzabosco is considered one of the top native players in Italian ice hockey history.
Philippe Bozon is a former French professional ice hockey player who played for the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League (NHL) between the 1991–92 and 1994-95 seasons. He is the first of only seven French-born and trained players to appear in the NHL, the other six being Cristobal Huet, Stéphane Da Costa, Antoine Roussel, Pierre-Édouard Bellemare, Yohann Auvitu, and Alexandre Texier. He is currently the head coach for Boxers de Bordeaux of the Ligue Magnus. His international playing career was recognized with induction into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2008.
Jorma Juhani Valtonen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the SM-liiga. He played on the Finland men's national ice hockey team at the 1980 Winter Olympics, and was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989, and into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 1999. He later coached the Finland women's national ice hockey team, and was a goaltending coach in the Kontinental Hockey League.
Louis Joseph Vairo is an American former ice hockey coach and administrator. He served as head coach of the United States men's junior team at five IIHF World U20 Championships, and the United States men's team at four Ice Hockey World Championships and the 1984 Winter Olympics. He was an advance scout for the United States gold medal team at the 1980 Winter Olympics, and was an assistant coach on the United States silver medal team at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He has also served as head coach of the Netherlands men's team and the Italy men's team at the Ice Hockey World Championships. Vairo has coached in professional hockey leagues in Europe, won a Serie A championship with HC Milano Saima, and served as an assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils. In junior ice hockey, he won five Metropolitan Junior Hockey League championships and the New York State junior championship, and coached the Austin Mavericks to two Midwest Junior Hockey League championships and one national championship.
Alan Letang is a Canadian-Croatian former professional ice hockey player. In 2021, he was named the head coach for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League.
Anthony Charles Tuzzolino is an Italian-American former professional ice hockey center. Tuzzolino was drafted 113th overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. After completing his collegiate career with Michigan State University of the CCHA he went on to play professionally in both the major and minor professional hockey league teams. He played for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the New York Rangers and for the Boston Bruins of the NHL and Cincinnati, Lexington, Hartford, Providence, and Houston in the AHL. His younger brother Nicolas Tuzzolino was also a professional hockey player who played in the AHL and ECHL.

John Brian Patrick Quinn, was a Canadian ice hockey player, head coach, and executive. Known by the nickname "The Big Irishman", he coached for the National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Edmonton Oilers, reaching the Stanley Cup Finals twice, with the Flyers in 1980 and the Canucks in 1994. Internationally, Quinn coached Team Canada to gold medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics, 2008 IIHF World U18 Championships and 2009 World Junior Championship, as well as World Cup championship in 2004.
Matthew David Duchene is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Nashville Predators. While with the Predators, he set a new franchise record for most goals scored in a single season.
