John Porter (born 15 August 1950) is a Welsh-born musician, composer and songwriter, living in Poland since 1976.
Originally from Lichfield, after studying political science in Sussex and spending time in Berlin, Porter moved to Poland in the mid-1970s. [2]
He used to perform with his ex-life partner Anita Lipnicka. In 2006, their daughter Pola was born.

Adam Andrzej Ostrowski, better known as O.S.T.R., is a Polish rapper, musician, audio engineer and record producer, famous for his freestyle rap skills, ambitious lyrics and unique beats. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Łódź, violin class. He is one of the few Polish rappers who have received professional musical education. He has collaborated with American rappers such as Evidence, El Da Sensei, Craig G, Keith Murray, Jeru The Damaja, Lil' Dap, Sadat X and Canadian producer Marco Polo. He has also collaborated with many Polish artists, including jazz musicians Michał Urbaniak, Hades, SOFA, Fokus, DJ Deszczu Strugi, DonGURALesko, Vienio i Pelson, Fu, Pezet, Sistars and Slums Attack. He is a member of bands such as Tabasko, Skill Mega, Killing Skills, Beat Brothers and musical project POE. He is also a former member of Obóz TA and LWC. In 2013, he shared the position of art director of Męskie Granie festival with alternative rock vocalist Kasia Nosowska.

Anita Lipnicka is a Polish singer and songwriter. Her career as a singer started in Varius Manx, a band with which she achieved a great success. In 1996, she made a decision to pursue a solo career, she left the band and moved to London where she made her first solo album. The album was called "Wszystko się może zdarzyć" and was a huge success. In 1998 Lipnicka released her second solo album "To, co naprawdę". In 2000, her third solo album appeared-"Moje oczy sa zielone". In 2001, Lipnicka started to work with John Porter. Together they recorded two albums, "Nieprzyzwoite piosenki" in 2003 and "Inside Story" in 2005. Both albums were all in English. The album Indecent Songs won The Fryderyk award for The Pop Album of the Year. In 2006 they released a mini-disc called "Other Stories" and a collection of all their records plus a DVD with their videos called "All The Stories".

The live performance on the Akustycznie bonus CD was recorded on December 16, 2003, at the Blue Note club in Poznań.
Kryzys is a Polish rock music band, regarded as a pioneer of Polish punk rock and reggae. The origins of Kryzys go back to 1978, when the Warsaw punk rock ensemble The Boors was started by Robert Brylewski, Piotr Mrowiński (g.), Marek Iwańczuk and Kamil Stoor (dr.), who was replaced in January 1980 by Maciej "Magura" Góralski - poet, drummer. In May 1979, the band changed the name into Kryzys ('Crisis'), which was suggested by Brylewski. Under their new name, they performed at the legendary First All-Polish Review of the New Wave, in early August 1980 at Kołobrzeg. Soon afterwards, due to contacts of manager Jacek Olechowski, Kryzys played a tour of Upper Silesia and Zagłębie Dąbrowskie, and Pomerelia.

Obywatel G.C. was a Polish supergroup band created by Polish rock musician Grzegorz Ciechowski. The band was formed in 1986, after Ciechowski attempted to pursue a solo career after breaking up with another band called Republika. The group had different musicians from different genres, chosen by Ciechowski as the best jazz men and rockers in Poland. These people were Jan Borysewicz, one of the founders of Lady Pank, Wojciech Karolak, a notable jazz and blues musician, Krzysztof Ścierański, bass guitarist, and José Torres, a Cuban-Polish drummer. In total, they have had a total of 5 LPs and several singles. The band became notable in 1988 with the album Tak! Tak!, which had at the most 300,000 copies circulating and was awarded a gold disc. The band was disbanded in 1992, when Ciechowski reentered Republika.

"Mój jest ten kawałek podłogi", also known as "Kawałek podłogi", is a Polish-language alternative rock song by the band Mr. Zoob, written by Waldemar Miszczor. It was released in 1986 as a single and later on the 1987 Czego się gapisz? album. It is recognized as one of the most famous Polish-language rock songs and one of the most famous songs of the band. The song is about jailed man, who demands to have his own "piece of the floor", which is an allegory to people fighting for their freedom under the communist regime of the Polish People's Republic in the 1980s.
