John Smith (born March 27,1973) is a former American politician of the Republican Party. He was a member of the Washington State Senate from the 7th Legislative District. Smith was appointed to fill the Senate seat on January 3,2013 following veteran Senator Bob Morton's retirement. [1] He lost his seat in the November 5,2013 election to Ferry County Commissioner Brian Dansel. [2]
John Hardy Isakson was an American businessman and politician who served as a United States senator from Georgia from 2005 to 2019 as a member of the Republican Party. He represented Georgia's 6th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1999 to 2005.

After the election was certified on December 4,Angel was sworn in as state senator on December 17.
