The Johor Bahru Central Business District (Malay : Daerah Sentral Johor Bahru) or currently known as Ibrahim International Business District, is the commercial and political centre for the city of Johor Bahru in Johor, Malaysia. [1]
JBCBD is officially defined as the area within the Johor Bahru Inner Ring Road comprising the city centre, Jalan Wong Ah Fook, Royal Johor Museum, the palace grounds, Sultanah Aminah Hospital and Southern Integrated Gateway.
The area is a centre of business activity. All of the country's major banks have a presence in the city centre. Major shopping centres, such as Johor Bahru City Square and Komtar JBCC, are located within the area.
The area is also the seat of the state branches of the federal government as well as political parties' offices.
The area also plays host to the custom, immigration and quarantine (CIQ) complex of the Malaysian Government on the Malaysia-Singapore Causeway, including Sultan Iskandar Building.
The Johor Bahru Sentral railway station is also located in the area. Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System and Iskandar Malaysia Bus Rapid Transit will be the future public transport model located in the CBD.[ citation needed ]

The 23 km (14 mi) highway connects Iskandar Puteri in the west to Johor Bahru in the east. It is a toll free highway and part of the Iskandar Malaysia project. The Iskandar Coastal Highway is the fifth east–west-oriented expressway in the Iskandar Malaysia area after the Pasir Gudang Highway, the Pontian–Johor Bahru Link of the Second Link Expressway, the Senai–Desaru Expressway and the Johor Bahru East Coast Highway.

The Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link is an international cross-border rapid transit system that will connect Malaysia's second largest city, Johor Bahru and Woodlands, Singapore, crossing the Strait of Johor. It will consist of two stations, with the Malaysian terminus at Bukit Chagar station and the Singaporean terminus at Woodlands North station, which also interchanges with Singapore's Thomson–East Coast MRT line.

Bukit Chagar RTS station is an elevated terminal station currently being built in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. When opened, an estimate of 60,000 additional commuters will be able to cross the Causeway during peak hours.
Bandar Nusa Bayu or Nusa Bayu, is a township in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. The township is bordered by Setia Eco Gardens and Jelutong Hills forest to the north, Second Link Expressway to the west, Nusajaya Southern Industry Logistic Center (SILC) to the south, and GP Prima Transport Hub to the east. The township is part of the Iskandar Malaysia Flagship B and the Iskandar Puteri Master Plan. Formerly in the Nusajaya Master Plan, Nusa Bayu was known as Nusajaya Industrial Park, together with SILC. The development commenced in 2010 and began to be occupied since 2013 onward.
The Johor Bahru Conurbation, also known as the Southern Conurbation in the National Physical Plan, is the built-up urban or metropolitan area within and around Johor Bahru in the Malaysian state of Johor, and roughly corresponds to the Iskandar Malaysia corridor. Encompassing all of Johor Bahru District, Kulai District, and parts of Pontian and Kota Tinggi Districts, the conurbation is home to over 2.4 million people as of 2020, the third largest in the country.
