Jolanta Ogar-Hill (born 28 April 1982, in Brzesko) is a Polish competitive sailor. [1] At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she competed in the women's 470 with team-mate Agnieszka Skrzypulec and won a silver medal. [2] Since October 2014 she competed under the flag of Austria together with her Austrian teammate Lara Vadlau. Together they were successful at the 470 World Championships in La Rochelle in 2013 (silver medal) and in 2014 in Santander (gold medal).

In October 2014 Jolanta Ogar and Lara Vadlau were rewarded with the Austrian "Team of the Year 2014" award.

Since 2016 she has been competing again under the flag of Poland. [3]

Personal life

She came out as lesbian at the age of 21. She has taken part in the #SportAgainstHomophobia campaign launched by the Campaign Against Homophobia. [3]

Belcher was selected as the Australian flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the 2020 Summer Olympics after winning a second gold medal and third successive medal in the 470 class.

Anton Carl Diderik Dahlberg is a Swedish sailor, who specializes in the 470 class, a two-person dinghy. Eilidh Jane McIntyre is a British former sailor, who won the gold medal alongside Hannah Mills in the 470 event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She won the 2019 470 World Championships, and came second at the 2017 470 World Championships. She finished third at the 2015 470 European Championships, and second at the 2019 and 2021 events, as well as having won multiple Sailing World Cup medals. In 2022, McIntyre was awarded an MBE for services to yachting.
