Nome is a municipality in Telemark in the county of Vestfold og Telemark in Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Midt-Telemark and historically of Grenland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Ulefoss.

Gabriel Fliflet is a Norwegian accordion player and vocalist, known for his multicultural musical expressions and numerous recordings. He is the brother of bass player and sagspiller Andreas Fliflet, and the son of Albert Lange Fliflet, who have done the achievement of translating the Finnish national epic Kalevala a New Norwegian which is close to the language of Western Telemark.

Hekla Stålstrenga is a Norwegian folk and folk rock band specializing in North Norwegian traditional music. It was formed in 2008 as a duo by fiddler Ragnhild Furebotten and guitarist Tore Bruvoll. They had their first recording as a duo, for which they were nominated during Spellemannprisen, the Norwegian Grammies, for "Best folk music band". They later on added lead vocalist Anne Nymo Trulsen, drummer Ole-Jakob Larsen and acoustic bassist Trond-Viggo Solas to become a five-member band.
