Jonathan Paul Addison (born 14 November 1965) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Leicestershire in 1983. [1] [2] He was a right-handed batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler who played his only game of first-class cricket for the team in 1983 against the touring New Zealanders. He was born in Leek, Staffordshire.
Addison also played List A cricket for the county between 1983 and 1985, for Staffordshire between 1987 and 1991, and for the Minor Counties in 1988. Addison played in two Youth Tests against the West Indies Young Cricketers and two Youth One-Day Internationals against the same team in January and February 1985. [1]
He scored a first-class fifty, 51, in his only match for Leicestershire against the touring New Zealanders. [3] But he failed to impress with the bat in his three one-day games for the county.

He is nicknamed "Aggers", and, less commonly, "Spiro" – the latter, according to Debrett's Cricketers' Who's Who, after former US Vice-President Spiro Agnew.

Peter Willey is a former English cricketer, who played as a right-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler. In and out of the England team, he interrupted his international career for three years by taking part in the first of the England players' South African rebel tours in 1982. After his playing career ended, he became a Test umpire.
Charles Stewart Dempster was a New Zealand Test cricketer and coach. As well as representing New Zealand, he also played for Wellington, Scotland, Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
Jeetan Shashi Patel is a former New Zealand international cricketer. A right arm off spin bowler, he plays for Wellington in New Zealand and Warwickshire in England. He is also the spin bowling coach for the England cricket team.
James Cullum Tredwell is an English former international cricketer. A left-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler, he played his domestic cricket for Kent County Cricket Club and was appointed as County Captain for the 2013 season. He made his debut for Kent in the 2001 season, nine days before his first appearance for England Under-19s. He often fielded at slip.
Abdul-Kadeer Ali is an English first-class cricketer who is currently at minor counties side Staffordshire. He has played for Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Leicestershire as well as appearing for England A. He was capped by Gloucestershire in 2005. He is of Pakistani descent and studied at Handsworth Grammar School.
Thomas James New is an English cricketer born at Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. He played first-class and List A cricket for Leicestershire from 2004 to 2011, spending the latter part of the 2008 season on loan to Derbyshire. New is a wicketkeeper/batsman who has represented his country at Under 19 level.
James William Arthur Taylor is an English former cricketer who played for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm leg break bowler, Taylor made his debut in first-class cricket in 2008 for Leicestershire and made major impressions in his first county seasons. He is noted as being a fine fielder in the covers. He became the youngest Leicestershire one-day centurion and first-class double centurion. In 2009, Taylor also became the youngest player in Leicestershire's history to score 1,000 championship runs in a season.
Steven Joseph "Steve" O'Shaughnessy is a former English professional cricketer who played for Lancashire and Worcestershire in the 1980s, and then had a substantial career in Minor Counties cricket with Cumberland. Since retiring from playing, he has become an umpire, and was promoted in December 2010 to the first-class panel for the 2011 season.

David Alan Wenlock is a former English cricketer. Wenlock was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born in Leicester, Leicestershire.
Andrew Kenneth Golding is a former English cricketer. Golding was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He was born in Colchester, Essex.

Horace Charles Snary was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Leicestershire between 1921 and 1933. He was born at Whissendine, Rutland, and died at Leicester.
