Jonathan Pownall (born 22 August 1991) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who last played as a winger for the Leigh Centurions in the Championship.
He previously played for the Leigh Centurions and Toronto Wolfpack.
Pownall made his senior début for Leigh on 6 March 2011 in a Challenge Cup match against the amateur club Hull Dockers. His first league game was on 22 May 2011 in a Championship match against Hunslet Hawks. [1]
In 2016, it was announced that Pownall would join Toronto Wolfpack for the 2017 season. He made his début in the 3rd round of the 2017 Challenge Cup. [3]
Robert James Beswick is a former rugby league footballer who played as a hooker or loose forward. He started his professional career in 2004 with the Wigan Warriors in the Super League. He left the club in 2006 and spent the next ten seasons in the Championship with the Widnes Vikings, Halifax and the Leigh Centurions. In 2017, Beswick joined the Toronto Wolfpack and played in the club's inaugural league game before finishing his career with Newcastle Thunder. Beswick also represented at Ireland at international level, and was capped 26 times between 2006 and 2019.

An Ireland international second-row, he played in the Super League for the Widnes Vikings, Salford City Reds, Bradford Bulls and the Huddersfield Giants, and in the Championship for the Leigh Centurions.
Richard Whiting, also known by the nickname "Superman", is an English former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Toronto Wolfpack in the Championship. Able to play in a variety of positions, he was considered a utility player.
Ryan Bailey is an English former rugby league footballer who played as a prop. A Great Britain and England international and Yorkshire representative, he played the majority of his club career at the Leeds Rhinos, making over 300 appearances and winning six Super League championships and three World Club Challenges with the club. After leaving Leeds, Bailey played for Hull Kingston Rovers, Castleford Tigers and the Warrington Wolves. After Super League his playing career continued in League 1 with a Canadian club, Toronto Wolfpack, and then at Workington Town. He then went to Leigh Centurions in the Championship.
