Jordi Bertomeu Orteu (born 15 January 1959) is a Spanish basketball administrator. He is the former President,Chairman,and CEO of Euroleague Basketball,which operates the professional European club competitions the EuroLeague and EuroCup. [1]
Bertomeu was born on 15 January 1959,in Barcelona,Catalonia,Spain. Bertomeu earned a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Barcelona. [2]
From 1982 to 1994,he worked as the general counsel and general secretary of the ACB (Basketball Clubs Association),the organizing body of the Liga ACB,the top professional league in Spanish basketball. [2] From 1994 to 2000,he worked as the vice president of the ACB. [2]
In 2000,he was appointed CEO of Euroleague Basketball,which is the organizing body of Europe's premier club basketball competition,the EuroLeague,as well its second-tier competition,the EuroCup. [2] In 2009,EuroLeague Basketball appointed him to the position of chairman of the board,and in 2011,to the position of president. [2] In November 2021 it was confirmed he will leave his position as Euroleague Basketball CEO at the end of the 2021–22 season after six teams in the league voted to dismiss him. [3] [4]
On November 25,2008,Lithuania's government gave Bertomeu the Order of the Republic of Lithuania award,for his contribution to the development and promotion of sports in the country. [5]
Dejan Bodiroga is a Serbian basketball executive and former professional player,who is currently the President of EuroLeague Basketball. In 1998 and 2002,he received the Golden Badge award for the best athlete of Yugoslavia,and the Yugoslav Olympic Committee also declared him the Sportsman of the Year. He was named to the FIBA All-Time EuroStars Team in 2007. In 2018,he was named one of the 101 Greats of European Basketball. HoopsHype named Bodiroga one of the 75 Greatest International Players Ever in 2021. He was inducted into the Greek Basket League Hall of Fame in 2022.

Ioannis Bourousis,commonly known as Giannis Bourousis is a Greek former professional basketball player and basketball executive. He is the general manager of the Greek basketball club ASK Karditsa. During his playing career,at a height of 7 ft 3⁄4 in tall and a weight of 270 lb. (122 kg),Bourousis played at the center position. Bourousis,who was a two-time All-EuroLeague First Team selection,was compared to FIBA Hall of Fame / Basketball Hall of Fame center Vlade Divac,by San Antonio Spurs' head coach Gregg Popovich.
