Othell Maxie Burns Jr. is an American politician and academic from the state of Georgia. A member of the Republican Party,Burns has represented the 23rd district in the Georgia State Senate since January 2021. He previously served in the United States House of Representatives from 2003 to 2005,representing Georgia's 12th congressional district. From 2012 to 2017 he was the president of Gordon State College in Barnesville,Georgia.

William English "Brit" Kirwan is an American university administrator and mathematician who is chancellor emeritus of the University System of Maryland (USM) and professor emeritus of mathematics at the University of Maryland,College Park. Most recently,Kirwan served as chancellor of USM from 2002 to 2015. Previously,Kirwan worked at the University of Maryland,College Park from the 1960s to 1990s as a professor,administrator,and eventually president and was president of the Ohio State University from 1998 to 2002.
Gary Craig Fethke was an interim president of the University of Iowa. Fethke succeeded David Skorton,who left the University of Iowa to assume the presidency of Cornell University. Fethke earned both his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Iowa. He taught at Bradley University from 1968 to 1974,and at the London School of Economics. He became a management science and economics professor at Iowa. In 1988 Fethke was named an associate dean of the Henry B. Tippie College of Business,and in 1993 he was named the interim dean of the Tippie College. One year later he was named dean.
Michael Clyde Gallagher was an American academic administrator. He was a former President of Mesa State College in Grand Junction,Colorado. Gallagher later served as interim President of Idaho State University. He had also previously served as President of the University of Houston–Victoria and as Dean of Business there.
Max Martin Fisher was an American businessman and philanthropist. He was a benefactor/alumnus of the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University. He spent much of his life raising money for philanthropic and political endeavors and was a supporter of charitable and civic organizations. His diplomacy skill made him an advisor on Middle East and Jewish issues to every administration from President Dwight D. Eisenhower's to President George W. Bush's.

"Yank" Heisler Jr. was the retired chairman of KeyBank,the 12th largest bank in the United States by total assets,the retired chief executive officer of McDonald Financial Group,and was the dean of the Kent State University College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management until 2011. The Kent State business school under Heisler's leadership was selected by The Princeton Review for its 2009 list of the top business education programs in the United States. In 2005,he was named to the Inside Business Hall of Fame.
Manuel Trinidad Pacheco was president of Laredo State University (1984–1988),the University of Houston–Downtown (1988–1991),the University of Arizona (1991–1997),the University of Missouri System (1997–2002). In retirement,he served as the interim president of his alma mater,New Mexico Highlands University (2006-2007),and two terms as the interim president of New Mexico State University.
James Francis Price was an American academic. He succeeded Caleb Gates as the ninth chancellor of the University of Denver. He had served as acting chancellor for eight months,assuming the official chancellorship in 1947. He resigned six months later for health reasons. Price was born in Manhattan,Kansas in 1906. He graduated from Kansas State College in 1927 and then from Stanford University with a law degree in 1930 and a masters in law in 1937. He worked in the business sector and in private law practice for six years before entering the education field. He spent three years as a legal adviser and vice president of the Raven Trust Company in Shanghai,China. Upon his return to the United States he became a partner in the Chicago brokerage firm Hedge and Price. In December 1940 he was invited to become Dean of the law school at Washburn Municipal College at Topeka,Kansas where he served from 1941 to 1943. He then became the president of Kansas State Teachers College. Price joined the University of Denver staff on July 1,1945 as the dean of the law school. He also served dean of the College of Business Administration and director of Public Administration at the University. He became acting chancellor on September 1,1947 upon the retirement of Caleb Gates. During his chancellorship enrollment increased to almost 11,000 students. He was succeeded by Dr. Alfred C. Nelson. He died in San Diego County,California in 1994.

Before becoming the dean at Missouri Western,Lane was Emporia State University's fifteenth president and an accounting professor from 2006 to 2011,and provost/vice president at several institutions.
