Josephine Gibbs (born 21 May 1938) is a British alpine skier. She competed in three events at the 1960 Winter Olympics. [1]

Josephine Francisca Maria "Fieke" Boekhorst-Van Griensven is a retired Dutch field hockey player. She won an Olympic gold medal and a European title in 1984, and world titles in 1978 and 1983, but never became a national champion. During her career she played 90 international matches for the Netherlands, in which she scored 106 goals. The defender made her debut for the Dutch on 16 September 1978 in a match against India, and quickly became known for her powerful shots. Marie-Louise Jean Joséphine Linssen-Vaessen was a freestyle swimmer from the Netherlands. She competed at the 1948 and 1952 Olympics and won one silver and two bronze medals in the 100 m and 4 × 100 m events. She won three European medals in these events in 1947–1950.

Josephine Eveline McKim, also known by her married name Josephine Chalmers, was an American swimmer who won three medals at the 1928 and 1932 Olympics. In 1928 she won the bronze medal in the 400-meter freestyle event. She also swam in the first heat of 4×100-meter freestyle relay, but was replaced by Eleanor Garatti in the final. Four years later she won the gold medal in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay and was fourth in the 100-meter freestyle. During her career McKim set five world records in various freestyle events.
