Joshua Harris (born September 9, 1982) is a former professional American football quarterback.

College career

During his two years as a starter at Bowling Green State University, he led the Falcons to consecutive finishes in the top 25 nationally. During his senior season, he led the Falcons to a victory over Northwestern University in the Motor City Bowl. Harris finished his college career as the school leader in rushing touchdowns (43), and is third in passing yards (7,503) and passing touchdowns. At the time, he and Antwaan Randle El were the only two quarterbacks to have ever thrown for 40 touchdowns and rushed for 40 touchdowns in their careers in NCAA Division I FBS history.

He was the first quarterback to help popularize Urban Meyer's spread option offense.

Baltimore Ravens

Josh was originally drafted in the sixth round by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2004 NFL draft. [3]

Cleveland Browns

After a brief stay in Baltimore he went on to the Cleveland Browns for 2 seasons before he was released.

Calgary Stampeders

He signed with the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders, in 2005. He had 5 carries for 40 yards, and never had a pass attempt.

New York Giants

He was later picked up by the New York Giants. On July 7, 2006, he was released by the Giants.

Columbus Destroyers

He also played for the Arena Football League's Columbus Destroyers. [4] He made a pivotal play in the AFL conference championship against the Georgia Force, with a key block that allowed for the winning score.

Retirement

He retired from professional football in 2008 to focus on his advertising company, Joshua1and5.

Marion Blue Racers

He came out of retirement in 2011 to play for the Marion Blue Racers. [5] In their first game, he ran for the game-winning touchdown with 27 seconds remaining. It was also the expansion franchise's first victory. He led his team to an 8–2 regular season record and a 2nd-place finish in the CIFL. [6] He also led them to the CIFL Championship Game, where they lost 44–29 to the Cincinnati Commandos. Harris has re-signed with the Blue Racers, who have moved to the United Indoor Football League for the 2012 season.

He is the son of former NFL player M.L. Harris. He is married to his wife Tamara and they have 2 sons. Currently, Josh is the President and CEO of Freedom Direct LLC a final expense life insurance call center. [8]

Tyler Allen Sheehan is a former American football quarterback. Sheehan played collegiately at Bowling Green State University after a standout career at La Salle High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going undrafted in the 2010 NFL draft, he signed with Houston Texans, where he was released after training camp. In 2011, he signed with the Cincinnati Commandos of the Continental Indoor Football League. Sheehan led the Commandos to a perfect 10–0 regular season, winning the league's MVP award. In the playoffs, Sheehan led the Commandos to the 2011 CIFL Championship Game, where they defeated the Marion Blue Racers 44–29. After the Commandos season ended, Sheehan signed with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League, but never appeared in a game. In 2012, Sheehan returned to the Commandos and led them to a 7–2 record, this time in the United Indoor Football League. The Commandos took the first place seed into the playoffs, and won Ultimate Bowl II 62–44 over the Florida Tarpons.

The Cincinnati Commandos were a professional indoor football team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team suspended operations for the 2013 season, with hope of returning in 2014. They began play in 2010 as an expansion team in the Continental Indoor Football League before moving to the United Indoor Football League in 2012. The Commandos then left the UIFL after winning Ultimate Bowl II and re-joined the CIFL, but never took the field after its announcement. The Commandos were the fifth arena or indoor football in Cincinnati, after the Cincinnati Rockers, Cincinnati Swarm, Cincinnati Marshals, and Cincinnati Jungle Kats. The owners of the Commandos are Dennis Whitman and Paul Napier. The Commandos played their home games at Cincinnati Gardens.

The Marion Blue Racers were a professional indoor football team based in Marion, Ohio. The Blue Racers began play as an expansion team in the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) in 2011, before moving to the United Indoor Football League (UIFL) for the 2012 season. The Blue Racers returned to the CIFL in 2013. The team had announced that it would be joining the Xtreme Indoor Football League (XIFL) for the 2014, but later re-signed with the CIFL. During the 2015 season, the Blue Racers played as members of X-League Indoor Football.

The 2011 Marion Blue Racers season was the first season for the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) franchise. They took over to fill the void in Marion, Ohio, after the Marion Mayhem folded the year before. The franchise couldn't have asked for a more exciting start than their first game on March 5, 2011. Marion entered the 4th quarter trailing 37–23 to the Port Huron Predators. They started their comeback by scoring a touchdown with 10:31 left in the game. Mike Tatum caught a nine-yard touchdown pass from Josh Harris and Tyler Lorenz added the extra point, cutting Port Huron's lead was cut to 37–30. With 3:27 left in the game, Harris ran in from three yards out to tie the game. The game-winning score came on an eight-yard run by Harris with 27 seconds to play. Port Huron quarterback Jim Roth was intercepted by Bryan Williams as time expired to secure the victory. On April 2, 2011, the Blue Racers set a CIFL record with 8 rushing touchdowns in a single game, against the Indianapolis Enforcers. After the Blue Racers got off to a 3–1 start, Demetrius Ross stepped down from his head coaching position, citing personal reasons. His defensive coordinator, Ryan Terry, took over as head coach, just 2 days before the Blue Racers played their first road game at the Dayton Silverbacks. The Blue Racers went on to an 8–2 regular season record, losing twice to the Cincinnati Commandos. The team defeated the Dayton Silverbacks 53–18 in the league semi-finals, before being defeated by the Commandos again in the 2011 CIFL Championship Game 44–29.
