The Journal of Architectural Engineering is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Society of Civil Engineers covering all aspects of engineering design, planning, construction, and operation of buildings, including building systems; structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; acoustics; environmental quality; lighting; and sustainability.
The journal is indexed in Ei Compendex, Emerging Sources Citation Index, ProQuest databases, Civil Engineering Database, Inspec, Scopus, [1] and EBSCO databases.
Scopus is Elsevier’s abstract and citation database launched in 2004. Scopus covers nearly 36,377 titles from approximately 11,678 publishers, of which 34,346 are peer-reviewed journals in top-level subject fields: life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences and health sciences. It covers three types of sources: book series, journals, and trade journals. All journals covered in the Scopus database are reviewed for sufficiently high quality each year according to four types of numerical quality measure for each title; those are h-Index, CiteScore, SJR and SNIP .Searches in Scopus also incorporate searches of patent databases.
The Journal of Environmental Engineering is a monthly engineering journal published by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Earth Surface Processes and Landforms is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by John Wiley & Sons on behalf of the British Society for Geomorphology. It covers geomorphology and more in general all aspects of Earth sciences dealing with the Earth surface. The journal was established in 1976 as Earth Surface Processes, obtaining its current name in 1981. The journal primarily publishes original research papers. It also publishes Earth Surface Exchanges which include commentaries on issues of particular geomorphological interest, discussions of published papers, shorter journal articles suitable for rapid publication, and commissioned reviews on key aspects of geomorphological science. Foci include the physical geography of rivers, valleys, glaciers, mountains, hills, slopes, coasts, deserts, and estuary environments, along with research into Holocene, Pleistocene, or Quaternary science. The editor-in-chief is Stuart Lane.
The Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, formerly the Journal of the Hydraulics Division (1956–1982), is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Topics range from flows in closed conduits to free-surface flows to environmental fluid dynamics. Topics include transport processes involving fluids such as sediment and contaminant transport, and heat and gas transfers. Emphasis is placed on the presentation of concepts, methods, techniques, and results that advance knowledge and/or are suitable for general application in the hydraulic engineering profession.
The Journal of Structural Engineering is the principal professional peer-reviewed journal of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the oldest professional civil engineering society in the United States. The journal is one of the flagship journals of the Society. It is sponsored by its division, the ASCE Structural Engineering Institute.
Computers in Entertainment was an online academic journal and magazine that featured both peer-reviewed articles as well as news content covering entertainment technology, products, services, and notable people. The editor-in-chief was Newton Lee and the journal was published from 2003 to 2018 by the Association for Computing Machinery. From 2009 to 2011, Adrian David Cheok and Masa Inakage were co-editors-in-chief together with Lee.
The Journal of Engineering Mechanics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Society of Civil Engineers, and covers activity and development in the field of applied mechanics as it relates to civil engineering. Published papers typically describe the development and implementation of new analytical models, innovative numerical methods, and novel experimental methods and results.
The Journal of Bridge Engineering, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal about bridge engineering. It is published by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
The Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal established in 1989 by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It covers research and best practices concerns on development, processing, evaluation, applications, and performance of construction materials in civil engineering. It consists of four sections: cementitious material, asphalt, geo-materials, and hybrids.
The Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It covers foundations, retaining structures, soil dynamics, slope stability, dams, earthquake engineering, environmental geotechnics, geosynthetics, groundwater monitoring, and coastal and geotechnical ocean engineering. Papers on new and emerging topics within the general discipline of geotechnical engineering are encouraged, as well as theoretical, practice-oriented papers and case studies.
The Journal of Transportation Engineering, Part A: Systems is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It covers planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of air, highway, rail, and urban transportation systems and infrastructure. Papers on road, bridge, and transit management; and transportation systems are encouraged, as well as those on connected and autonomous vehicles; highway engineering and economics, safety and environmental aspects of transportation.
The Journal of Transportation Engineering, Part B: Pavements is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It covers planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of airport, roadway and other pavement systems. Papers that cover pavement design, materials, modeling, performance, and environmental aspects are encouraged.
