The Journal of Nursing Education is a monthly peer-reviewed nursing journal. It was established in 1962 and is abstracted and indexed in MEDLINE.
The Journal of Nursing Education began as a quarterly journal published by McGraw-Hill. The first editor-in-chief was Alice Bicknell, although she was supplanted by a small editorial board in the journal's second year. [1] This editorial board continued their oversight until 1981, at which time SLACK Incorporated became the journal's publisher and assigned Margaret Carnine as its editor. [1] As of September 2018 [update] , the editor-in-chief is Amy J. Barton, PhD, and the associate editor is Teri A. Murray, PhD. [2]
In 2002, the journal increased from nine issues per year to 12. [1]

Teresa Thomas "Terry" Fulmer, is the current president of The John A. Hartford Foundation. She is known for her extensive research in geriatrics and elder abuse. She has received funding from the National Institute on Aging, the National Institute of Nursing Research and other foundations for her research regarding elder abuse.
Lucile Petry Leone was an American nurse who was the founding director of the Cadet Nurse Corps in 1943. Because the Nurse Corps met its recruiting quotas, it was not necessary for the US to draft nurses in World War II. She was the first woman and the first nurse to be appointed as Assistant Surgeon General of the United States Public Health Service.
Amy Eliza Tanner was an American psychologist who became well known for discrediting the then-famous medium Leonora Piper after Tanner was allowed to attend six séances with a fellow researcher.
The American Journal of Nursing (AJN) is a monthly peer-reviewed nursing journal established in 1900. As of 2021 the editor-in-chief was Maureen Shawn Kennedy and it is published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. In 2009 the journal was selected as one of the "100 Most Influential Journals in Biology and Medicine in the Last 100 Years" by the Biomedical and Life Sciences Division of the Special Libraries Association.

He is a Clinical Professor Emeritus of Psychology in Psychiatry and former Clinical Professor of Reproductive Medicine, and Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Perelman is the co-director of the Human Sexuality Program, Payne Whitney Clinic of the NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital.
Nursing Studies is an academic unit within the School of Health in Social Science at University of Edinburgh. A teaching unit was established in 1956, the first to be part of a British university. The unit's initial focus was on education for nursing teachers and leaders. In 1960 it offered the first degree courses in nursing in the UK. It became a department of the university in 1965 and six years later gained a Chair of Nursing Studies, which was the first to be established in Europe. The unit also had a Nursing Research Unit, which opened in 1971 and ran for more than twenty years. The unit continues to offer nurse education at undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels.

Until 2022 was the Professor of Nursing at the University of Hull. He is the editor-in-chief of Nurse Education in Practice and an Editorial Board Member of the WikiJournal of Medicine. Watson was the Founding Chair of the Lancet Commission on Nursing, and a founding member of the Global Advisory Group for the Future of Nursing. Watson was elected Vice President of the National Conference of University Professors in 2020 and became President in 2022 until 2024.
