Joy Jivankumar Zinto (born 7 August 1965) is a former international cricketer who represented the American national team between 1998 and 2002. He was born in India,and played first-class cricket there before emigrating to the United States.
Zinto was born in Ahmedabad,Gujarat. [1] He made his first-class debut for the Gujarat cricket team in December 1984,aged 19,in a Ranji Trophy match against Bombay. An all-rounder who batted right-handed and bowled left-arm orthodox spin,Zinto was a regular for Gujarat throughout the rest of the 1980s. During the 1989–90 season,his last for Gujarat,he was also selected to play for West Zone in the Duleep Trophy. [2] Zinto took two five-wicket hauls in Ranji Trophy matches –5/102 against Bombay in January 1988 and 5/88 against Baroda in January 1989. [3] [4] He also recorded three half-centuries as a batsman,the highest of which was an innings of 85 made against Bombay in November 1986 (from eighth in the batting order). [5]
After emigrating to the United States,Zinto made his debut for the U.S. national team in October 1998,in the 1998–99 Red Stripe Bowl (a West Indian domestic competition to which the United States had been invited as a guest team). [6] In three matches,he failed to take a wicket,at the same time conceding 102 runs. [7] Zinto next represented the U.S. at the 2001 ICC Trophy in Canada,which was the final qualification tournament for the 2003 World Cup. [8] He appeared in all nine of his team's matches,and took ten wickets,which was the fourth-most for his team (behind Naseer Islam,Nasir Javed,and Donovan Blake). [9] His best figures came in a match against the Netherlands,where he finished with 3/32 from ten overs,while he also took 3/34 against Papua New Guinea. [8] Zinto's last international appearances came at the 2002 Americas Championship in Argentina,where he took four wickets from four matches (including 3/14 against the Bahamas. [10]

He has represented India in more than 200 international matches across all three formats of the game. He is the third highest wicket-taker for India in One Day Internationals (ODIs). He was the part of the Indian squads which won the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy and the 2007 T20 World Cup and finished as runners up at the 2003 Cricket World Cup and the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy. He was the Chairman of Selection Committee for 2024 T20 World Cup winning Indian team.
Jacob Joseph Martin is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman. Martin has appeared 10 times for India at One Day International (ODI) level at the turn of the 21st century. He captained Baroda cricket team in the Indian domestic circuit.
Piyush Chawla is an Indian cricketer who has played for the India national cricket team. He was a member of the Indian team that won both the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 Cricket World Cup. He is seen as a leg-spinning all-rounder in domestic cricket. He was awarded the 'Player of the Tournament' in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy and was the leading run scorer for India at the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

Umeshkumar Tilak Yadav is an Indian cricketer who represented the Indian cricket team. He currently plays for Vidarbha in domestic cricket and Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League. He played 57 test matches for India and his fast-bowling contributed of India winning test matches particularly at home. Yadav was a member of the team that won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He was the highest wicket-taker for India in the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Bhausaheb Babasaheb Nimbalkar was an Indian first-class cricketer who is remembered for his innings of 443 not out in the 1948–49 Ranji Trophy match between Maharashtra and Kathiawar. At the time,it was the second-highest score in the history of first-class cricket. It remains the Indian record and is also the highest score by a batsman who never played in Test cricket. Nimbalkar was a right-handed batsman whose career spanned the seasons from 1939/40 to 1963/64. He played for six first-class teams:Baroda,Maharashtra,Holkar,Madhya Bharat,Rajasthan,and Railways. He was an occasional wicket-keeper and a right-arm fast-medium bowler.

Shatrusalyasinhji Jadeja is a former Titular Maharaja of Nawanagar State and a former first-class cricketer.
The 1937–38 Ranji Trophy was the fourth edition of the Ranji Trophy,an annual first-class cricket tournament in India. Matches were played from 17 October 1937 to 24 February 1938 with a total of 18 teams participating. The sides were divided into four zonal groups,but the tournament utilised a knockout format. Hyderabad defeated the defending champions Nawanagar in the final.
The 1957–58 Ranji Trophy was the 24th season of the Ranji Trophy. Baroda won the title defeating Services in the final. Vidarbha made their debut in the competition.

Mukesh Shamsunder Narula is an Indian cricket coach and former player. His domestic career as an all-rounder for Baroda spanned from 1985 to 1996,and included a number of matches for West Zone in the Duleep and Deodhar Trophies. He was the head coach of Canada from 2014 to 2015.
Prem Bhatia was an Indian cricketer. He played 55 first-class matches for Delhi between 1958 and 1969,scoring more than 2,500 runs. Bhatia also made 1 first-class appearance for Gujarat against Baroda in the 1973–74 Ranji Trophy,while also making 1 List A appearance for North Zone against South Zone in the 1984–85 Deodhar Trophy.
Alan Nanik Sippy is a former Indian cricketer who played first-class and List A cricket for Bombay between 1984 and 1991. He was Sachin Tendulkar's first batting partner in first-class cricket. He is now a businessman in India.
