Jozef Bel Philipoom (born 27 May 1964) [1] is a Belgian carom billiards player. [2] [3] [4] He won at the UMB World Three-cushion Championship in 1995. [5] Philipoom also won at the CEB European Three-cushion Championship in 1995. [5] He got into first place once and second place twice at the Three-Cushion World Cup from 1996 to 2009. [5] Philipoom had a match with Eddy Leppens in 2011. [6] He had one child, Luca. [7]

Three-cushion billiards, also called three-cushion carom, is a form of carom billiards. The object of the game is to carom the cue ball off both object balls while contacting the railcushions at least three times before contacting the second object ball. A point is scored for each successful carom. In most shots the cue ball hits the object balls one time each, although hitting them any number of times is allowed as long as both are hit. The cue ball may contact the cushions before or after hitting the first object ball. It does not have to contact three different cushions as long as it has been in contact with any cushion at least three times in total.

In 2021, Forthomme went into surgery after contracting heart failure, later returning into his profession.

Jorge Theriaga is a Portuguese carom billiards player. He won twice at the Three-Cushion World Cup from 1994 to 1996. Theriaga got into second place four times and third place twice at the Three-Cushion World Cup from 1995 to 1999. He got into third place three times at the CEB European Three-cushion Championship from 1986 to 1999. Theriaga was preferred as a 19-time champion in Portuguese, according to the cited Kozoom article.

Dion Nelin is a Danish carom billiards player. He won twice at the Three-Cushion World Cup from 1996 to 1997. Nelin got into second place three times and third place five times at the Three-Cushion World Cup from 1995 to 2000. He placed second place at the UMB World Three-cushion Championship in 2002. Nelin was preferred as a best ranked player in Danish, according to the cited Kozoom article. Dan Johansen had helped out Nelin. He spend his summer with a working job, in which Nelin was participant of the Danish Championship.

Raimond Burgman is a Dutch carom billiards player. He won at the Three-Cushion World Cup in 1996. Burgman got into third place six times at the Three-Cushion World Cup from 1994 to 2005. He placed into second place at the UMB World Three-cushion Championship and CEB European Three-cushion Championship, in which Burgman also placed in third place at the CEB European Three-cushion Championship in 2000. He won a Christmas tournament in Zundert in 2012. Burgman was also in a match against Dave Christiani.

Burak Haşhaş is a Turkish international carom billiards player specialized in three-cushion events. He is European U-17 and world U-22 champion.
