Juan Carlos Echeverry Bernal is a Colombian operatic tenor. He was born in Manizales, Colombia. [1]
He began singing at the age of five in the children's choir of his native city Manizales, while also learning the piano. Later he studied Piano and voice at the University of the Andes, Colombia (Universidad de los Andes), in Bogotá then at the Musikhochschule in Mannheim, Germany, where he was also studying vocal technique. In 1997 he continued his vocal training at the Conservatory of Cologne (Hochschule für Musik Köln), a large European music school, in the class of Professor Klesie Kelly. He received his degree with honours in July 2000. A few weeks later, he was selected to enter the Paris Opera Young Artist Program, where he remained engaged for three years.
There he took part in master classes of singers like Renata Scotto, Christa Ludwig, Teresa Berganza, Ileana Cotrubas and sung roles in the Magic Flute (Tamino), Carmen (Remendado), The Barber of Seville (Almaviva), Gianni Schicchi (Rinuccio), among others. In the autumn 2008 in Paris, and then on tour for almost two years, he was Tony Candolino in the play "Master class - Maria Callas". Playing opposite famous actress Marie Laforêt, while also singing Puccini. He has performed in France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Holland, Colombia and Uruguay in a variety of recitals and operas such as: Petr Eben, Anita Baldi, Vanja and Vicente Pradal La Traviata, Cosi fan tutte, Don Giovanni, Don Pasquale, The Abduction of the Serail. Mario Laserna Pinzón was a Colombian educator and politician born in Paris of Colombian parents. Laserna Pinzón is credited for being the founder of the Los Andes University in Bogotá, which was incorporated in 1948 and is a private institution modeled on the United States liberal arts educational system. He also served as Senator of Colombia, and Ambassador to France and Austria and is an author of several books.
El Tiempo is a nationally distributed broadsheet daily newspaper in Colombia launched on January 30th, 1911. As of 2019, El Tiempo has the highest circulation in Colombia with an average daily weekday of 1,137,483 readers, rising to 1,921,571 readers for the Sunday edition. After longtime rival El Espectador was reduced to a weekly publication following an internal financial crisis in 2001, El Tiempo enjoyed monopoly status in Colombian media as the only daily that circulated nationally, as most smaller dailies have limited distribution outside their own regions. However, El Espectador returned to the daily format on May 11, 2008.

José Francisco Araiza Andrade, is a Mexican operatic tenor and lied singer who has sung as soloist in leading concert halls and in leading tenor operatic roles in the major opera houses of Europe and North America during the course of a lengthy career. Born in Mexico City, he studied singing at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música de México and later in Germany, with Mozartian tenor Richard Holm, and lieder interpretation with Erik Werba. He made his operatic debut in 1970 in Mexico City as First Prisoner in Beethoven's Fidelio. Araiza initially came to international prominence singing in Mozart and Rossini operas, but in the 1980s broadened his repertoire to include Italian and French lyric tenor roles and Wagnerian roles such as Lohengrin and Walther von Stolzing. He was made a Kammersänger of the Vienna State Opera in 1988. Now retired from the opera stage, he teaches singing and serves on the juries of several international singing competitions.
Humberto de la Calle Lombana is a Colombian lawyer and politician. He served as Vice President of Colombia from 1994 to 1997. De La Calle served in the cabinet as Interior Minister under two Presidents, Andrés Pastrana and César Gaviria. He also served as Ambassador to Spain and the United Kingdom. After 2003, De La Calle worked at his own Law firm which specialises in advising and representing international clients in Colombia. In October 2012 he was appointed by President Juan Manuel Santos as the chief negotiator in the peace process with the FARC.

De Mi Alma Latina is a 1994 Latin music album by Spanish tenor Plácido Domingo. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album of the year. Most of the tracks on the album are medleys of, in the words of one author, "some of the Latino world's most memorable melodies." The only new composition on the album, "De México a Buenos Aires", was written by Domingo's son Plácido Domingo Jr. All the songs are in Spanish, except for "Manhã de Carnaval" and "Aquarela do Brasil", which are in Portuguese. Domingo also used "De Mi Alma Latina" and "From My Latin Soul" as the names for some of his subsequent Latin music concerts. In 1997, he released a follow-up album entitled De Mi Alma Latina 2.

On 7 March 2016, his resignation from the position was accepted due to the country's energy crisis by El Niño 2015-16 and the fire at Guatape power plant.
