Juha Mieto Finnish cross-country skier

Juha Iisakki Mieto is a Finnish former cross-country skier, who was born in Kurikka. He competed in the 1972, 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics and won five medals, including a gold medal in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1976. He also placed fourth three times, losing the 15 km bronze medal in 1972 by 0.06 seconds. He finished second in this event in 1980 in the closest-ever margin of victory in Olympic cross-country skiing, 0.01 seconds, which led the International Ski Federation (FIS) to round all of their times to the nearest 1/10 second in future competitions. Mieto was selected as the Finnish flag bearer at the 1972 Winter Olympics.

Dmitri Kazarlyga is a former ice dancer who competed internationally for Kazakhstan. With partner Elizaveta Stekolnikova, he is the 1994 Skate America bronze medalist, 1995 Winter Universiade bronze medalist, and 1996 Asian Winter Games champion. They placed 18th at the 1994 Winter Olympics and 22nd at the 1998 Winter Olympics.

Rafael di Tella is an Argentine fencer, economist and academic. He competed at the 1988 and 1992 Summer Olympics. In 1991, di Tella graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a degree in economics and in 1996 received his doctorate from Keble College, Oxford. He joined the faculty of Harvard Business School in 1997 and subsequently became the Joseph C. Wilson Professor of Business Administration.

Juha Matti Ahokas is a retired amateur Finnish Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's super heavyweight category. Ahokas has won thirty Finnish championship titles, collected four medals at the European Championships, and also represented his nation Finland in four editions of the Olympic Games. Throughout his sporting career, Ahokas trained for Nurmon Jymy Wrestling Club in Seinäjoki under his father and personal coach Risto Ahokas.
