Jules Szymkowiak (born 1 October 1995 in Heerlen, Limburg) is a Dutch racing driver. After competing in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship he transferred to GT-racing in various GT3 championships.
After karting in various Rotax Max powered classes Szymkowiak was selected to compete in the Formula BMW Talent Cup in 2013. The Dutch driver won four races during the season, two at the Red Bull Ring and two at the Slovakia Ring. [1] At the championship Grand Final at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben Szymkowiak finished second in the first race, retired in the second race and placed sixth in the third race. The Dutchman had to settle for sixth in the overall standings. [2]
For 2014 Szymkowiak was announced to race with Van Amersfoort Racing in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Former Formula One driver Adrian Sutil advised on Szymkowiak transitioning into Formula 3. [3] At the Hungaroring Szymkowiak scored his best result placing sixth. During the season the driver scored seventeen points placing twentieth in the series.
Szymkowiak made his GT3 racing debut with HTP Motorsport in a Bentley Continental GT. The rookie landed his HTP racing seat by filling in an application form. [4] In the 2015 Blancpain Sprint Series the Dutch driver shared his car with three different drivers during the season, Olivier Lombard, Tom Dillmann and Max van Splunteren. [5] In the overall classification Szymkowiak scored a couple of sixth places as his best result. As a silver graded driver he qualified for the Silver Cup. [6] In the Silver Cup he scored nine class victories out of thirteen races dominating the championship. To qualify to race GT3 machinery in the VLN and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring Szymkowiak needed a DMSB Permit Nordschleife Grade A. [7] To receive the permit Szymkowiak raced in the 2015 DMV Münsterlandpokal entered on two cars, one BMW M235i and one Honda Civic Type-R. [8] [9] With HTP Motorsport switching to the new Mercedes-AMG GT Szymkowiak got a new teammate for the Blancpain GT Sprint Series, Bernd Schneider. The duo won their first race at Brands Hatch. [10] The duo scored another two podium finishes placing them fourth in the series championship. As a rising talent he won the Sean Edwards Trophy, over other finalists Dries Vanthoor and Luca Stoltz. [11] For 2017 Szymkowiak partnered with Fabian Schiller again qualifying to compete in the Silver Cup classification. The duo scored a second place overall finish at the season opener at Misano. They also won the Silver Cup classification seven times, again winning the championship.

Maro Engel is a German professional racing driver based in Monaco. He is a Mercedes-AMG factory driver since 2008 & brand ambassador since 2017.
W Racing Team is a Belgian auto racing team founded in 2009 by engineer and former head of Volkswagen Motorsport René Verbist, racing driver Vincent Vosse, and entrepreneur Yves Weerts. Between 2010 and 2022 the team campaigned Audi R8 LMSs in several international sports car series. In 2010 the team won the Belcar Drivers' and Teams' Championships, while in 2011 they won the Spa 24 Hours. After winning multiple titles in various GT championships, WRT is considered to be one of the best teams worldwide in GT racing. In 2019 and 2020 WRT ran two Audi RS5 Turbo DTMs in the highly competitive DTM championship. In 2021 WRT added a full time LMP2 program, by entering an Oreca 07 in both the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series, and won the LMP2 class of the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans. From 2023 on WRT switched their partnership in GT racing from Audi to BMW and will run the BMW M4 GT3. The team will also run two factory backed BMW M Hybrid V8s in the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar category from 2024.
Alex Fontana is a Greek-Swiss racing driver currently racing as a professional driver in the 2023 GT World Challenge Europe for Car Collection Motorsport. He is a freelance driver with an open contract able to race for different teams and different manufacturers at the same time. When he is not racing, he works as a coach and driving instructor in Europe, America, and China, while commentating the Formula 1 Grands Prix for Swiss television with RSI.
Raffaele "Lello" Marciello is a Swiss-born Italian professional racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for BMW M Team WRT. A former member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, he was the 2013 European Formula Three Champion, a reserve and test driver for the Sauber Formula One team in 2015, and spent three seasons competing in the GP2 Series. He switched to GT racing in 2017 and became a works Mercedes-AMG driver ahead of the 2018 campaign, where he stayed until leaving in 2023 and subsequently signing with BMW. In 2022, Marciello earned his first major endurance race victory by winning the Spa 24 Hours.
