Julestemninger is a 1993 Christmas album from Norwegian singer Elisabeth Andreasson. [1] Within a short time, the album sold gold. The song "Ledet av en stjerne" became a hit. On the album, choir singers from the Oslo Gospel Choir and musicians from the Oslo Philharmonic appear. The cooperation with the Philharmonic orchestra led to Elisabeth becoming soloist during their 1993 Christmas concert.

Oslo Gospel Choir is a Norwegian gospel choir centred in Oslo, Norway conducted by Tore W. Aas. The choir started up in 1988 and has since then become one of the most successful in Europe with success both in Europe and America. They have released around 20 albums. Wizex is a Swedish dansband formed in Osby in 1973. It purchased the rights to the name from a band that started as Ulrik Wittmans Kvintett in 1957. When Ulrik Wittman left the band in 1963 they started to use the name Wizex. When read out the name sounds like "The Six of Us", "vi sex", in Swedish, and it was six persons left in the band when they changed the name. Today's band had six founders and was allowed to purchase the name, and hence use 1973 as the starting point.

Julekonserten was a Norwegian Christmas concert which was held every year between 1989 and 1999. Julekonserten toured in Scandinavia, and visited cities in Norway, Sweden and Denmark with a mix of Scandinavian artists. The long list of artists and performers includes Sissel Kyrkjebø, The Chieftains, Oslo Gospel Choir, Triple & Touch, Rune Larsen, Tor Endresen and Kurt Ravn. Every year Julekonserten was also broadcast on Television in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Stageway AS arranged these concerts and a part of the money went to aid children on the street in La Paz and Santa Cruz in Bolivia.
