"La det swinge" is a Norwegian-language song by the pop duo Bobbysocks!. It was the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 and Norway's first victory in the contest. The song is a tribute to dancing to old rock 'n' roll heard on the radio. Befitting the subject matter, the song itself is written in an old-fashioned style, with a memorable saxophone melody starting the song. The melody arrangement is in retro style, containing elements of contemporary 1980s music and throwbacks to the 1950s. Following their win, the single peaked at number one in the Norwegian and Belgian singles chart, and entered the charts in various countries, including Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The song has later been sung by many artists, sometimes with a changed text. In 1986 Trygve Henrik Hoff wrote a Norwegian language text: Det skal lyse en sol, which Sissel Kyrkjebø sang. The Sissel Kyrkjebø version was on the Sveriges Radio hitlist Svensktoppen for 17 rounds, during the period 8 November 1987-6 March 1988, with 4th place as best result there.
Julestemninger is a 1993 Christmas album from Norwegian singer Elisabeth Andreasson. Within a short time, the album sold gold. The song "Ledet av en stjerne" became a hit. On the album, choir singers from the Oslo Gospel Choir and musicians from the Oslo Philharmonic appear. The cooperation with the Philharmonic orchestra led to Elisabeth becoming soloist during their 1993 Christmas concert.

The Girl in the Rain is a 1955 Swedish drama film directed by Alf Kjellin and starring Marianne Bengtsson, Kjellin, Annika Tretow and Gunnel Lindblom. It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Nils Nilsson.
