Jullovsmorgon (Christmas vacation Morning) was a TV-series for children broadcast by Sveriges Television every morning during the Swedish Christmas holidays. At the mornings during the Swedish summer holidays, a TV-series called Sommarlovsmorgon (Summer holiday Morning) is broadcast. The 1st "Jullovsmorgon" Gomorron jul with Anita och Televinken was broadcast during the 1970/1971 Christmas and the 39th and last "Jullovsmorgon" Träskändan was broadcast during the 2008/2009 Christmas. Astrid Anna Emilia Lindgren was a Swedish writer of fiction and screenplays. She is best known for several children's book series, featuring Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga, Karlsson-on-the-Roof, and the Six Bullerby Children, and for the children's fantasy novels Mio, My Son, Ronia the Robber's Daughter, and The Brothers Lionheart. Lindgren worked on the Children's Literature Editorial Board at the Rabén & Sjögren publishing house in Stockholm and wrote more than 30 books for children. In January 2017, she was calculated to be the world's 18th most translated author, and the fourth most translated children's writer after Enid Blyton, Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm. Lindgren has so far sold roughly 167 million books worldwide. In 1994, she was awarded the Right Livelihood Award for "her unique authorship dedicated to the rights of children and respect for their individuality."
Lars Gunnar Åberg, known professionally as Lasse Åberg, is a Swedish actor, musician, film director and artist. Between 1960 and 1964 he studied at the Konstfack department of graphic design.
The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards, they were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. Roosarna, also known as the Kjell Roos Band, is a dansband in Vallsta, Sweden. The band was formed in 1969 by the brothers Kjell, Anders and Sven-Åke as Bröderna Roos. In the mid-1970s they changed their name to Roosarna. Since 1975, it is a full-time playing band. In 1982, the band began to collaborate with Kikki Danielsson.

He worked in public service between 1950 until 1985, well-known for the interview roundtable programme "Snillen spekulerar" on SVT, as well as narrating the annual Christmas Eve broadcasts from the same channel.

The TV-series included songs and sketches with education about letters, numbers, positions, etc. Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter was broadcast first on 19 November 1973 on TV2 by Sveriges Television and it was also broadcast as Sveriges Television's Christmas calendar27 November –24 December 1977. Fem myror is available for purchase on VHS and DVD and there are also PC games. The animated number segments by Owe Gustafson were later exported to the American television series Sesame Street.

During the Swedish Christmas holidays a TV series called Jullovsmorgon was broadcast, from the Christmas of 1970/71 to 2008/09. Every year's "Sommarlovsmorgon" broadcasts TV series/films.

Trazan & Banarne was a Swedish children's television series which was broadcast from 1976 to 1982 on Sveriges Television. For its first season from 1976 to 1977, it was part of the Jullovsmorgon series. The title characters were played by Lasse Åberg and Klasse Möllberg (Banarne), and they recorded many songs together with the band Electric Banana Band.

Shima Niavarani is an Iranian-Swedish actress, singer, playwright and director. She has performed in theater, film, television and radio in over 40 productions. Niavarani got her breakthrough at the age of nineteen in the play Autodidakt i enmansakt which she directed and played in. She toured with the play for over a year and her work received several awards. She is perhaps most known for her solo-musical Shima Niavarani är en Übermensch which was broadcast on SVT in 2010, and for her role as "Maiken" in the TV4 series Allt faller which was directed by Henrik Schyffert.
Thor-Erics was a dansband in Hyssna, Sweden. The band was established in 1963 and performed for last time on 27 December 1999. The band appeared at TV in Sweden and Norway several times. Nick Borgen performed with the band by the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Kjell Mikael Eriksson is a Swedish radio presenter, television personality, blogger and author. In 2008 he was a regular guest at VAKNA! med The Voice which was broadcast both on the radio station The Voice and on Kanal 5. Eriksson also goes by the pseudonyms of "Kjelleman", "Kjell ger igen" and "DumKjell". He has worked on the comedy show Pippirull and has presented the morning show Morgonpasset, and Sovmorgon all of them broadcast on Sveriges Radio. He also has presented the show Långlunch at the local radio Sveriges Radio Stockholm. Eriksson has frequently appeared on commercial television and radio channels such as RIX FM, The Voice, Kanal 5 and TV3. He has also written the biography Kjell, about his upbringing in Täby in the 1980s when he was severely overweight.
