Eos Airlines, Inc. was an American all-business class airline headquartered in Purchase, New York, with its flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. On 26 April 2008 Eos Airlines announced its plans to file bankruptcy on its web site, announcing it would cease passenger operations after April 27.

RAK Airways was an airline based in Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven states in the United Arab Emirates. Gryphon Airlines is an American-owned airline based in Vienna, Virginia, United States, in the Washington, D.C. area. It became the first airline to offer scheduled flights to the military side of Baghdad Airport when these flights began in March 2007.

The airline's first flight was from Dubai to Karachi, Pakistan and Mumbai, India in October of that year. Its first aircraft were provided by Pakistan International. The airline grew rapidly through partnerships and investment to become one of the world's leading air carriers.
