Justine Simone Freha Suissa (born 21 March 1970) is a British singer-songwriter, the vocalist of trance group OceanLab.

Career and collaborations

She has collaborated with Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Robbie Rivera, and has continued to work with Above & Beyond outside of OceanLab, most recently on their 2016 world tour [1] and participating on four songs on the band's 2018 album Common Ground . Three songs "Cold Feet", "Naked" and the album's lead single "Alright Now" she appeared as a featured artist and the song "Bittersweet & Blue", featuring Richard Bedford, which marked her first co-written credit. [2]

Suissa came to wider notice when she featured on the hit Chicane album Behind The Sun in 2000. She formed OceanLab with Above & Beyond, achieving a top-twenty UK hit with "Satellite" in 2004. [3] She also collaborated on a major dance hit, "Burned With Desire", with Armin van Buuren in 2003. [4]

She has been called "[one] of the electronic world's most powerful vocalists" and "a mainstay in the trance world". [5] [6]

After a several year hiatus, the group announced their return with a new single at Above & Beyond's ABGT150 concert in September 2015.

Natalie Gioia is an electronic music vocalist and songwriter, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. At the age of 16, Natalie decided to try herself as a vocalist. Later, when she reached 20, she was invited as a solo singer to Japan's tour with show ballet Bourgeois. Tunisia was the next step in her career. Touring in the African country, Natalie met Italian impresario Flavio Demichelis, who invited her to collaborate in Italy. In the 2006 she signed contract and later released a new song Che donna vorei. It was a success in the eyes of critics. In 2009 Natalie came to Ukraine, where she met her love. The album is their first studio album since We Are All We Need (2015) and includes appearances from frequent collaborators Richard Bedford, Justine Suissa, and Zoë Johnston plus new guest vocalist Marty Longstaff. Common Ground charted at number three in the United States, making it the biggest US chart debut by a British electronic group and Above & Beyond's highest career charting album release.
