Jystrup is a small town with a population of 840 (1 January 2024) [1] located in the middle of Zealand, Denmark. It is located in Ringsted municipality in Region Zealand.
Known for its nearby Danish Tramway Museum of Skjoldenæsholm , the town is also close to a camping site.

Skjoldenæsholm Castle is a manor house located 11 kilometres north-east of Ringsted, Denmark, standing on the west side of one of the many lakes which dominate the area. The Neoclassical main building, possibly by Philip de Lange, is now run as a hotel and conference centre while the grounds play host to both the Skjoldenæsholm Tram Museum and a golf course. The rest of the land is mostly forested.
Skjoldenæsholm Tram Museum, also referred to as the Danish Tramway Museum, is an open-air museum dedicated to vintage trams and buses. It is located 65 km (40 mi) south-west of Copenhagen, Denmark, between Ringsted and Roskilde.

Gyldenløves Høj is a high point on Sjælland, used to be the highest at 125.5 m above mean sea level. Kobanke near Rønnede is the highest natural point, however, at 122.9 m, as Gyldenløves Høj is only 121.3 m without the artificial mound constructed at the summit.
