K. Ganeshan is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter and actor working in Cinema of South Indian Languages Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films. Ganeshan is known as the director of Porkalathil Oru Poo , Navabharathi, Namma Magu POP is a banned film [1] based on the life of Isaipriya, a journalist and television broadcaster for the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. Career

K.Ganeshan started his career as an assistant director, later made directorial debut with Asha Jyothi (1993), where he played lead role as well. Apart from Porkalathil Oru Poo (2005), [4] [5] [6] Ganeshan's other notable films are Savi Nilaya, that won Baby Mevisha Karnataka State Film Award for Best Child Actor (Female) in 2015, [7] Namma Magu that was screened at UNESCO IOM [8] and 18.05.2009 , based on Sri Lankan Civil War. [9] [10]

Ganeshan's new film is a Tamil film titled as Kadhal Sei with Ilaiyaraaja as composer. The film was dubbed in Kannada as Preethsu. [11]

Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, also known mononymously as Bharathi, is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Kannada cinema and television serials. She began her career in 1966, as a lead actress, with the Kannada movie Love in Bangalore though Dudde Doddappa was her first release. Sujatha was an Indian actress who performed and starred in a variety of unique characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R. Govindarajan as a protagonist in her first Tamil film, Aval Oru Thodar Kathai (1974). It was a critically acclaimed film and launched the actress's first commecrical breakthrough in her acting career. Whereas, her first Telugu picture happened to be a Telugu/Tamil bilingual titled as Guppedu Manasu (1979) in Telugu and was simultaneously shot as Nool Veli in Tamil of the same year. She died of a cardiac arrest on 6 April 2011 in Chennai.

Mayangukiral Oru Maadhu is a 1975 Indian Tamil-language film directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by S. Baskar. The film stars Muthuraman and Sujatha, with Thengai Srinivasan, Vijayakumar and Fatafat Jayalaxmi in supporting roles. It revolves around a woman who must try to keep a one-night stand that she had in college a secret from her husband, and thwart a persistent blackmailer intent on collecting money from her to keep quiet about it.

Porkalathil Oru Poo is an unreleased Indian Tamil-language film directed by K Ganeshan. It is based on the life of Isaipriya also known as "Lieutenant Colonel Issei Piriya", a journalist and television broadcaster for the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. It was planned to be released in 2015 but was banned by the Censor Board as it would damage India–Sri Lanka relations.

18.05.2009 is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language war drama film written and directed by K Ganeshan.The film is about the bloody end to the Sri Lankan Civil War .K Ganeshan states he believes he has the “blessings of the thousands of Tamils who were massacred by the Sri Lankan Army on May 18, 2009.” Dhaanya made her acting debut through this film which she depicted it as a difficult debut. She plays a journalist in the film.
