KRI Frans Kaisiepo (368) is a Diponegoro-class corvette of the Indonesian Navy.
The Diponegoro-class guided-missile corvettes of the Indonesian Navy are SIGMA 9113 types of the Netherlands-designed Sigma family of modular naval vessels, named after Indonesian Prince Diponegoro. Currently there are 4 Diponegoro-class corvette in service.
Frans Kaisiepo was laid down on 8 May 2006 and launched on 28 June 2008 by Damen Group, Vlissingen. She was commissioned on 7 March 2009.
The MBDA MICA is an anti-air multi-target, all weather, fire-and-forget short and medium-range missile system. It is intended for use both by air platforms as individual missiles as well as ground units and ships, which can be equipped with the rapid fire MICA Vertical Launch System. It is fitted with a thrust vector control (TVC) system. It was developed from 1982 onward by Matra. The first trials occurred in 1991, and the missile was commissioned in 1996 to equip the Rafale and Mirage 2000. It is a replacement for both the Super 530 in the interception role and the Magic II in the dogfighting role.
Prince Diponegoro (ꦢꦶꦥꦤꦼꦒꦫ), also known as Dipanegara, was a Javanese prince who opposed the Dutch colonial rule. The eldest son of the Yogyakartan Sultan Hamengkubuwono III, he played an important role in the Java War between 1825 and 1830. After his defeat and capture, he was exiled to Makassar, where he died.

Frans Kaisiepo was a Papuan politician and Indonesian nationalist. He served as the fourth Governor of Papua Province. In 1993, Kaisiepo was posthumously declared a National Hero of Indonesia for his lifelong efforts to unite West Irian with Indonesia. As the representative of Papua province, he was involved in the Malino Conference, where the formation of the United States of Indonesia was discussed.
The Bung Tomo class is a class of three Indonesian multi role patrol corvettes. They were originally built for the Royal Brunei Navy and named Nakhoda Ragam-class corvettes but were ultimately bought by Indonesia and renamed. SMART-S Mk2 is very successful. Only six years after its introduction, 30 systems were sold to navies all over the world. The radar transmitter/receiver (T/R) modules for the MK-2 are purchased by Thales from Aselsan of Turkey.

Martadinata-class of guided-missile frigates of the Indonesian Navy are SIGMA 10514 types of the Netherlands-designed Sigma family of modular naval vessels, named after Indonesian Admiral Raden Eddy Martadinata. The frigates are each built from six modules or sections, four built at the PT PAL shipyard at Surabaya, the other two at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding in the Netherlands. Currently only two R.E. Martadinata-class frigates have been ordered, however, with the planned retirement of the Ahmad Yani-class frigates it is widely expected that more R.E. Martadinata-class frigates will be ordered and built.
