Kaanchi (Trans. Trigger) is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language action drama film directed by G. N. Krishnakumar and written by B. Jeyamohan, starring Indrajith Sukumaran, Murali Gopy, Shine Tom Chacko and Archanna Guptaa.
The film follows the life of grocery store owner Madhavan, who lock horns with a powerful businessman name Peringodan Narayanan, were a revolver gun enters between there war. [1]
Krishnakumar, who directed College Days (2010), directs this film. Indrajith, Murali Gopy, and Archanna Guptaa play the lead roles. [2] [3] The film is written by B. Jeyamohan, who previously wrote Ozhimuri (2012). [4]
A critic from Sify wrote that "Kaanchi is like a cold glass of coffee that you find on your bedside as you get up on a cool morning. You can have it, but it won't give you any particular feeling. Decide on your own, if you want it or to go for some sparkling hot cup that will make you feel fresh!". [5] Paresh Palincha of Rediff.com opined that "Kaanchi, despite its star duo of Indrajith and Murali Gopy, and a script by Jeyamohan, falls far short of expectations". [6] Aswin J Kumar of The Times of India stated that "Kaanchi even throws up moments where a gifted story-teller like Jeyamohan seems doubtful of his own plot, something that hinders the plot". [7]

Motorcycle Diaries is an unreleased Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Rajesh Pillai, starring Kunchako Boban and Nivin Pauly in lead roles. Left Right Left is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language political drama film, directed by Arun Kumar Aravind and written by Murali Gopy. Left Right Left revolves around the lives of Jayan, Roy, Sahadevan, Anitha and Jennifer. Released on 14 June 2013, the film was set in three periods – the 60s/70s, the 80s/90s and the present day. It got mostly positive reviews upon release but drew occasional criticism for some of its characters and scenes resembling real-life political leaders and incidents. However, it has gathered a cult status over the years as one of the finest political thrillers ever made in Malayalam. Murali Gopy's performance won him the 61st Filmfare Awards South for The Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Lena Kumar won Kerala State Film Award for the Second Best Actress.Filmicompanion in 2019 included Hareesh Peradi's performance in the Top 100 performances of the decade.
