Chaudhary Charan Singh,better known as Charan Singh was an Indian politician and a freedom fighter. Singh was principally known for his land and agricultural reform initiatives. He briefly served as the prime minister of India from July 1979 to August 1979 and was Member of Parliament (MP) for Baghpat. During prime ministership he was a member of the Janata Party (Secular). He served as 5th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh as a member of Bhartiya Kranti Dal. He also briefly served as deputy prime minister of India from January 1979 to July 1979 as a member of the Janata Party. Singh is widely regarded as the "Champion of farmers",after his life has been dedicated to advocating for the wellbeing and rights of farmers.
The Bahujan Samaj Party is a political party in India that was formed to represent Bahujans,referring to Scheduled Castes,Scheduled Tribes,and Other Backward Classes (OBC),along with religious minorities. According to Kanshi Ram,when he founded the party in 1984,the Bahujans comprised 85 percent of India's population,but were divided into 6,000 different castes. The party claims to be inspired by the philosophy of B. R. Ambedkar,Mahatma Jyotiba Phule,Narayana Guru,Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj,and Gautama Buddha.
The Samajwadi Party is a socialist political party in India. It was founded on 4 October 1992 by former Janata Dal politician Mulayam Singh Yadav and is headquartered in New Delhi. The Samajwadi Party is currently led by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,Akhilesh Yadav. As of 2024,it is currently the third-largest political party in India,and the largest party in Uttar Pradesh.

Chaudhary Ajit Singh was an Indian farmer leader and politician. He was the founder and chief of the Rashtriya Lok Dal,a political party recognised in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He was son of the former Prime Minister of India Chaudhary Charan Singh. He tested positive for COVID-19 and was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Gurugram. He died on 6 May 2021 after his condition deteriorated.

Rajesh Verma is an Indian politician,a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and former Loksabha Member of Parliament. He was elected to the 13th Lok Sabha in 1999,the 14th Lok Sabha in 2004,the 16th Lok Sabha in 2014 and the 17th Lok Sabha in 2019 from Sitapur constituency in Uttar Pradesh state. In 2019 he won his fourth 4th election in Sitapur as a BJP candidate by 101,000 votes. He lost his Loksabha MP seats in 2024 Indian General Election from Sitapur.
Akhilesh Yadav is an Indian politician and national president of the Samajwadi Party who served as the 20th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Having assumed the chief minister's office on 15 March 2012 at the age of 38,he is the youngest person to have held the office till date. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kannauj in the 18th Lok Sabha. He is the parliamentary party leader of Samajwadi Party in 18th Lok Sabha. Earlier,he was an elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly for Karhal in the 18th Vidhan Sabha,before resigning and has also been the Leader of Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from March 2022 to June 2024.

Jagdambika Pal is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for 1 day in 1998. Rekha Verma is an Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh,India. She is a National Vice President of the BJP from 2019. She was a two time Member of Parliament from Dhaurahra Lok Sabha constituency. She lost the 2024 Indian general election in Uttar Pradesh.
