Kaliyar is a small village in the Idukki district of state Kerala in India . [1] The village is beautiful with a river as a center attraction and a pineapple estate. An area of Kaliyar which is near to the thommankuthu eco park is under forest department of kerala. The town nearby is Vannappuram. Thodupuzha city is 16km away. There are one higher secondarry school St.Mary's Higher secondary School, Kaliyar have classes from pre-kg to plustwo. And one cbse school Jai rani public school, Kaliyar.

Neyyassery is a village in Karimannoor Panchayat in Thodupuzha Taluk of Idukki district in the Indian state of Kerala. Its registered population was 7,557 according to the 2011 census report, compared to the 2001 population of 7,610; the village population decreased somewhat in that decade. Most of the population is engaged in farming and rubber cultivation fostered by its fertile soil and low-pollution environment.
