Kapari is a religious magazine published monthly in Telugu in Hyderabad [1] and has a reach throughout Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as well as other states among Telugu people.
The magazine was founded in 1970 by the Baptist preacher, The Rev. Dr. A. B. Masilamani [1] whose name is known all over the two states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The magazine continues to be published to this day. The publisher is New Life Associates. [1]
Andhra Pradesh is a state in the southern coastal region of India. It is the seventh-largest state with an area of 162,970 km2 (62,920 sq mi) and the tenth-most populous state with 49,577,103 inhabitants. It has shared borders with Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and the Bay of Bengal. It has the second-longest coastline in India at about 974 km (605 mi). After existence as Andhra State and unified Andhra Pradesh, the state took its present form on 2 June 2014, when the new state of Telangana was formed through bifurcation. Amaravati is the capital of the state, with the largest city being Visakhapatnam. Water sharing disputes and asset division with Telangana are not yet resolved. Telugu, one of the classical languages of India used by the majority of people, is the first official language.
The Telugu Desam Party is an Indian regional political party with great influence in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was founded by the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao (N.T.R.) on 29 March 1982 and has focused on supporting Telugu speakers. The party has won a five-time majority in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and has emerged as the most successful political outfit in the state's history. It is currently the main opposition party in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

On 2 June 2014, the area was separated from the northwestern part of United Andhra Pradesh as the newly formed state of Telangana, with Hyderabad as its capital.

The newspaper is owned by Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (DCHL).

The newspaper is owned by Mootha Gopalakrishna, former M.L.A of Kakinada city. The newspaper publishes neutral news not in support of any political organisation and is one of the most balanced and close-to-reality Telugu language daily newspapers.
The recorded history of Andhra Pradesh, one of the 28 states of 21st-century India, begins in the Vedic period. It is mentioned in Sanskrit epics such as the Aitareya Brahmana. The CineMAA Awards are presented annually by the Maa TV Group to honour artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Telugu Cinema. The awards were introduced in 2004. The CineMAA Awards are voted for by both the public and a committee of experts as per meritocracy.
The Visalandhra,VishalandhraorVishala Andhra was a movement in post-independence India for a united state for all Telugu speakers, a Greater Andhra. This movement was led by the Communist Party of India under the banner of Andhra Mahasabha with a demand to merge all the Telugu-speaking areas into one state.. The movement succeeded and a separate state of Andhra Pradesh was formed by merging Telugu-speaking areas of Hyderabad State with Andhra State on 1 November 1956 as part of the States Reorganisation Act.. However, on 2 June 2014, Telangana State was separated back out of Andhra Pradesh and the Vishalandhra experiment came to an end. The residual Andhra Pradesh now has approximately the same borders as the old Andhra State of 1956.

The Telugu Diaspora refers to Telugu people who live outside their homeland of Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They are predominantly found in North America, Europe, Australia, Caribbean, Gulf, Africa and other regions around the world. There are also few Telugus from other Indian states such as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Maharashtra, who live outside India. Telugus of Andhra Pradesh origin, living outside India are often referred as Non-resident Andhras (NRA). After the bifurcation of the United Andhra Pradesh, these are popularly referred as Non-resident Telugus.
Visalaandhra is an Indian Telugu-language daily newspaper established on 22 June 1952 in Vijayawada. The state Communist party of India decided to rename then daily Prajasakti to Visalaandhra with the slogan of having a single state for the Telugu speaking people. This newspaper was phenomenal in naming the newly formed state as Andhra Pradesh. It played a key role in opposing both the 1969 Separate Telangana movement and 1972 Jai Andhra movement. As of 2015, it is being published from 7 centres. The daily also celebrated its diamond jubilee year in 2012.

Before the 1956 reorganisation, Telangana had been part of Hyderabad State ruled by Nizam of Hyderabad, whereas Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra had been part of Andhra State, formerly a part of Madras Presidency ruled by British India.
The Telugu Baptist Church Council (TBCC) is a Baptist Christian denomination in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in India. The churches are part of the Telugu Christian community of Southern India.
