Karamchedu is a village in Bapatla district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the headquarters of Karamchedu mandal in Chirala revenue division. [1]

Kunkalamarru is a village under Karamchedu Mandal approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) from the commercial town of Chirala in Bapatla district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Its neighbouring villages are Karamchedu and Veerannapalem.

Keerthivaripalem is a small village in Chirala Mandal in Prakasam District in Andhra Pradesh state, India. Chirala, Karamchedu, Bapatla, Vetapalem, are the nearby towns to Keerthivaripalem. Keerthivaripalem is reachable by Ipurupalem railway station, Ipurupalem Halt railway station, Stuartpuram railway station, Chirala railway station. Its main Village Panchayat is Vodarevu Panchayat.

Karamchedu massacre refers to an incident that occurred in Karamchedu, Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh on 17 July 1985, where brutality by Kamma landlords against Madigas (Dalits) resulted in the killing of six Madigas and grievous injuries to many others. Three Madiga women were raped. Hundreds of Madigas in the village were displaced from their home after their houses were burnt and looted.
