Dil Jo Bhi Kahey... is a 2005 Indian romantic drama film directed by Romesh Sharma. Amitabh Bachchan, Revathi Nair, Karan Sharma, Bhumika Chawla, Annabelle Wallis, Malcolm Stoddard and Claire Oberman star in the film. It is the first and only movie starring Karan Sharma, who is also the director's son. The film is adapted from Romesh Sharma's Mauritian serial titled C'est La Vie, also featuring Karan Sharma and was broadcast on Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation in Mauritius in 2003.

The story was initially based on Manju Kapur's 2011 novel Custody, with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein continuing beyond Custody's story in later episodes. The show was immensely popular among the Indian audience.

The show follows the journey of a young, hardworking and middle class girl, Kkusum and later, after a 20 year leap on her daughter Kkumud.

C'est La Vie is a Mauritian TV Series directed and produced by Romesh Sharma. This TV series enjoyed by a lot of Mauritians was later converted into a full-fledged movie called Dil Jo Bhi Kahey.
