Karayayla is a village in the Kale District of Denizli Province in Turkey. [1]
Karayayla is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated at 37°01′N34°59′E in Çukurova to the northeast of Tarsus and the junction of the motor ways O-21 and O-52. The village is slightly elevated with respect to the plains. Its distance to Tarsus is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) and to Mersin is 40 kilometres (25 mi). The population of Karayayla was 192 as of 2012. Main economic activity is agriculture and grapes is the major crop of the village.
