Martin Lundgaard Hansen is a badminton player from Denmark. He started his career in badminton as a singles player, and competed in the 1993 IBF World Championships. But as the years went by, he made a choice to play doubles. Teamed-up with Lars Paaske, they emerged as the men's doubles champion at the 1999, 2001 Denmark Open, and in 2000, he and Paaske participated at the Olympic Games. The career highlights for Hansen was when he partnered with Jens Eriksen. The duo won the 2004 and 2006 All England Open, won gold at the European Championships, and was at the time a half years as No.1 in the world.
Eng Hian is a retired Indonesian badminton player. A men's doubles specialist, he won major international tournaments, most of them in partnership with Flandy Limpele, between 1999 and 2006. They earned a bronze medal in men's doubles at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Their victories included the Korea (1999), Denmark (2000), Singapore (2002), and Japan Opens, and the Copenhagen Masters in 2000 and 2004. Hian and Limpele briefly represented England from 2001 until 2003 before returning to PBSI just in time for 2004 Summer Olympics. They were runners-up at the prestigious All-England Championships in 2002. Hian won the Dutch Open with Rian Sukmawan in 2006. He is currently the Indonesia national team women's doubles head coach.

After ended his duty as an Indonesian mixed doubles national coach, he moved to Malaysia joining the Badminton Association of Malaysia national coach, and officially carry out his duties on 1 January 2023.

Her achievements are recognized worldwide, and was inducted in the BWF Hall of Fame in 2022.

Rudy Gunawan is a former Indonesian badminton player who played between 1980s and 1990s. He is arguably one of the best doubles players ever to play for Indonesia. Rudy Gunawan won various international championships, both in the men's doubles and mixed doubles events. He has paired up with players such as Eddy Hartono, Rosiana Tendean, Bambang Suprianto, and Ricky Subagja. He was on the Thomas Cup team of Indonesia five times but only won gold in 1994 and 1996. In addition, he helped strengthen the Indonesian team in the race for 1989, Sudirman Cup.
Aryono Miranat is a retired badminton player from Indonesia who specialized in mixed doubles. After his retirement he became a badminton trainer at PB Djarum in Kudus. As of 29 December 2007, he is a coach in the men's doubles category for the Indonesian badminton association (PBSI). He is currently the Indonesia national team men's doubles head coach.

Marleve Mario Mainaky is a former Indonesian badminton player who played in the singles event. He was part of the Indonesia men's team that won the Thomas Cup in 1998, 2000, and 2002. Mainaky had collected a silver and three bronzes at the Asian Championships. He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, reaching into the quarterfinals. He was the men's singles bronze medalist at the 2001 SEA Games, also helped the men's team won the silver medal at that event, and 2002 Asian Games. After he retired from the international tournament circuit, he started his career as a badminton coach. Marleve Mainaky was the fifth of seven siblings of Jantje Rudolf Mainaky and Venna Hauvelman. Five of the siblings were also professional badminton players. Five of seven children in the Mainaky family, Marleve, Richard, Rexy, Rionny and Karel, were part of the Indonesian national shuttling team in the 1990s and nowadays they still have a hand in the sport, though courtside as badminton coaches.
