The Karelia constituency (No.17 [a] ) is a Russian legislative constituency in the Republic of Karelia. The constituency encompasses the entire territory of Karelia.

Contents

The constituency has been represented since 1999 (except for 2007–2016) by United Russia deputy Valentina Pivnenko, a six-term State Duma member and former union leader.
