The Saab JAS 39 Gripen is a light single-engine multirole fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace and defense company Saab AB. The Gripen has a delta wing and canard configuration with relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire flight controls. Later aircraft are fully NATO interoperable. On 17 December 2010, American-based BorgWarner announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire the Traction Systems division of Haldex AB. BorgWarner completed the acquisition of the Traction Systems division on 1 February 2011. Haldex Traction Systems was incorporated in BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems.

The 2012 TTA – Racing Elite League season was the only season of the new Racing Elite League run by the Touring Car Team Association. The championship was formed as a breakaway from the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. Following the season, the two series announced their reunification, under the STCC name but with the TTA technical regulations. Fredrik Ekblom won the championship, driving for Volvo Polestar Racing.

(NME) is a British Virgin Islands-registered, Hong Kong-based holding company, which owns National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) together with Japan-based Sun Investment LLC. NEVS acquired the assets of Saab Automobile AB, Saab Automobile Powertrain AB, and Saab Automobile Tools AB from a bankruptcy estate. National Modern Energy Holdings has operations in China, Macau, and Hong Kong. The owner of the holding company and its subsidiaries is the Chinese-Swedish businessman Kai Johan Jiang.
Tureholm is a small and uninhabited artificial river island in Bäveån, which runs through the city of Uddevalla in Bohuslän, Sweden. It was created in the late 19th century or early 20th century by the local politician and publicist Ture Malmgren (1851–1922), close to his residence Villa Elfkullen. According to his newspaper Bohusläningen, the process of land reclamation took place because Malmgren enjoyed water, and wanted to be closer to the river. According to another author, it partially functioned as a wave breaker, preventing the ice of the late winters from pulling the nearby bridge with it. A small bridge is said to have formerly led from the mainland to its now overgrown embankments. The islet was named in reference to Malmgren by his friends. Other places named for him include the ruined Tureborg Castle and the nature reserve Ture Valleys.
Per Sune Evaldsson Gillbrand was a Swedish automobile engineer. Born in Tidaholm, Gillbrand is best known for his contribution to the development of several engines for Saab, and in particular their turbocharged engines.
