Karl-Erling Trogen (born 1946) is a Swedish business executive. He was chairman of National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS) from the foundation in April 2012 until January 2014. [1] The NEVS bought the bankruptcy estate from Saab Automobile on June 13, 2012.
Trogen has a Master of Science degree from Chalmers University of Technology. He was active in the Volvo Group from 1971 to 2005, and CEO of Volvo Trucks from 1991 to 2000.
The Saab JAS 39 Gripen is a light single-engine supersonic multirole fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace and defence company Saab AB. The Gripen has a delta wing and canard configuration with relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire flight controls. Later aircraft are fully NATO interoperable. As of 2020, more than 271 Gripens of all models, A–F, have been delivered.

Spyker Cars is a Dutch sports car brand held by the holding company Spyker N.V.. The modern Spyker Cars held the legal rights to the brand name. The company's motto is "Nulla tenaci invia est via", Latin for "For the tenacious, no road is impassable". The marque's logo displays an aircraft propeller superimposed over a spoked wheel, a reference to the historic Spyker company that manufactured automobiles and aircraft. In 2010, the company acquired Swedish car manufacturer Saab Automobile from General Motors.
Trollhättan Assembly is an automobile factory in Trollhättan, Sweden. The factory opened in 1947 under the ownership of Saab AB, then passing to Saab Automobile. From 1989 to 2010, the factory was partially (1989–1999), then completely (2000–2010) owned by General Motors. In 2010, Saab was sold to Spyker Cars. The plant ended production in 2011 and restarted in 2013, after the NEVS purchase of Saab Automobile. The Trollhättan complex, including the assembly, is now the sole site of all Saab engineering and manufacturing activities. After NEVS announced its closure in March 2023, the factory was sold to Stenhaga Invest AB, with both Polestar and EV Electra showing interest in buying the factory.
AB Nyköpings Automobilfabrik (ANA) founded in 1937 was an automobile manufacturer in Nyköping, Sweden that assembled trucks from Chrysler, DeSoto, Plymouth, Fargo and later also Škoda and Standard and from the mid-1950s also Simca. From 1946 they also sold Piper aircraft. The company was founded as a daughter company of Nordiska Kompaniet. During the 1960s the company distributed Massey Ferguson tractors, developing a modified version of the Ferguson hitch called the Swedish Hitch.
Haldex Traction is a manufacturer of intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) systems, founded in Sweden. Since the invention of Gen I in 1998, the company produced several generations of products licensed to and customized for some major automotive brands, that in turn have marketed Haldex Traction AWD under different names. On 17 December 2010, American-based BorgWarner announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire the Traction Systems division of Haldex AB. BorgWarner completed the acquisition of the Traction Systems division on 1 February 2011. Haldex Traction Systems was incorporated in BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems.

NEVS AB was a Swedish electric car manufacturer which acquired the assets of Saab Automobile from a bankruptcy estate in 2012. After facing numerous financial difficulties, the company resigned most of its employees in March 2023, with both Polestar and EV Electra interested in buying the former Trollhättan factory.
Kai Johan Jiang is a Swedish-Chinese businessman and company operator with business interests in Sweden and China. In 2004, Jiang founded State Power, a Chinese energy company active in the sustainable energy sources, mainly biomass. He is the CEO of State Power Group.

Koenigsegg is also a famous Swedish company which makes some of the fastest cars in the world, but also some of the most expensive. They currently produce models such as the Jesko, Gemera, and CC850.
National Modern Energy Holdings Ltd. (NME) is a British Virgin Islands-registered, Hong Kong–based holding company, which owns National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) together with Japan-based Sun Investment LLC. NEVS acquired the assets of Saab Automobile AB, Saab Automobile Powertrain AB, and Saab Automobile Tools AB from a bankruptcy estate. National Modern Energy Holdings has operations in China, Macau, and Hong Kong. The owner of the holding company and its subsidiaries is the Chinese-Swedish businessman Kai Johan Jiang.
Per Sune Evaldsson Gillbrand was a Swedish automobile engineer. Born in Tidaholm, Gillbrand is best known for his contribution to the development of several engines for Saab, and in particular their turbocharged engines.
The NEVS 9-3EV is an electric compact executive car produced by NEVS from December 2017 to 2022.
