Karl Halvor Teigen

Karl Halvor Teigen (born 1941) is a Norwegian psychologist.

He was born in Oslo and took the cand.psychol. degree in 1966. He was first a professor of psychology at the University of Tromsø from 1991, then at the University of Oslo from 2001. He is especially known for his book En psykologihistorie on the history of psychology. [1] He is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. [2]

Teigen also received the Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris in 1970 for the book Tapetdører. [3] In 2011 he received an Ig Nobel Prize for the article "Er et sukk bare et sukk?" (English: Is a Sigh Merely a Sigh?"). [1]

He received the Norwegian Critics Prize for Best children's book in 1982 for Jeg, Wilhem, 11 år.

Jo Eggen is a Norwegian poet. He made his literary début in 1980 with the poetry collection Ting og tings skygger, for which he was awarded the Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris. He published the collection Stavkirkedikt in 2010.

Frank Adolf Jenssen was a Norwegian journalist, photographer, novelist and musician. He was born in Kjøpsvik. He made his literary début in 1981 with the novel Saltbingen, for which he was awarded the Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris. He published the novel Lengselens år in 2004. He died on 9 June 2017 at the age of 65.

Aagot Vinterbo-Hohr is a Norwegian Sami physician and writer, born in Måsøy. She made her literary début in 1987 with the text collection Palimpsest, for which she was awarded the Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris. She published the poetry collection Kjærlighetsfuge in 1991.

Torun Lian is a Norwegian playwright, film director and novelist. She made her literary début in 1988 with the collection Tre skuespill, for which she was awarded the Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris. In 1995 she was awarded with the Nordic Children's Book Prize. Among her films are Bare skyer beveger stjernene from 1998, and Ikke naken, ikke kledt from 2000.
