The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role as a father and son alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra with Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. In the film, the jailer of a woman's prison recruits inmates and commits acts that shed light on corruption in India.
