A. Bhimsingh or Bhim Singh was an Indian filmmaker who worked predominantly in Tamil cinema. Apart from Tamil, he made films in other languages that include 18 films in Hindi, 8 films in Telugu, 5 films in Malayalam and 1 film in Kannada. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, he started his film career as an assistant editor with the film-making duo Krishnan–Panju in the late 1940s. Later, he became an assistant director before evolving as an independent director. His films mainly dealt with family and relationships. He made a series of films all of which started with the Tamil syllable pa, mainly with Sivaji Ganesan.

Atharvaa Murali is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. The son of actor Murali and grandson of director S. Siddalingaiah, Atharvaa began his acting career with Baana Kaathadi (2010). He then garnered critical acclaim for his performance as a youngster suffering from delusion in the romantic thriller Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (2012), before signing on to feature in Bala's period film Paradesi (2013). His role as a rural villager held as a slave in a tea plantation became his breakthrough performance, earning Atharvaa a Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Tamil.

Agam Puram is a 2010 Indian Tamil language action film written and directed by Thirumalai. The long-delayed film started production in early 2008 and film features Shaam and Meenakshi in the lead roles with Raja and Anandaraj. It released on 10 December 2010.

Paalam (transl. Bridge) is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language vigilante film directed by Karvannan. The film stars Murali, M. N. Nambiar, Kitty and newcomer Vasudevan Baskaran, with Senthil, Anuja, Suryakanth, Balambika, Kannan, Ramesh and Gowri in supporting roles. It was released on 10 March 1990.
Remote is a 2004 Tamil language action drama film directed by Karvannan, his last directorial before his death. The film featured Napoleon in the lead role, with several newcomers in supporting roles. The film was released on 26 December 2004. The impact and aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami meant that the film had a brief run in theatres. The film was later dubbed and released in Hindi as Time Limit 36 Hours.
Visithiran (transl. Strange) is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language police procedural film directed by M. Padmakumar starring R. K. Suresh and Poorna. It is a remake of the director's own Malayalam film Joseph (2018).
